My visit to the base in Belo Horizonte though short was very nice. It was great to see all the boys in the boys home. Of course I was sad to hear that a couple of the boys had lift but my heart was filled with joy to see how much many of the same boys that I worked with have grown and are truly seeking God. From Belo Horizonte I went to meet my girlfriends family in S�o Paulo, which went well. Arriving back in Rio on the 30th of Dec. to get every thing in order for Kings Kids. |

Crazy, that is the best word to describe my time at the camp! For 22 days with a staff team of 7 (& 1 cook) whom for the most part just meet on the opening day of the camp, responsible for 49 teenagers who came from all over Brasil. We stayed in a small school in Resende a small town in the south of Rio, with no car to buy supplies when needed. We had to relay on the help of one Pastor when available to buy stuff for us with her car and the buses for the rest. For the first 15 days with one outing the kids had a very intense schedule from 7am to bed time 10:30pm they had little free time. Wake up, exercise time , breakfast, meditation, time of sharing about God word, intercession time, worship, bible study/receiving teachings on different subjects like Holiness, Gods Love as a Father, Relationships, Sex ext., lunch time, work duties, learn dances and dramas, bath time, super time, show time (perform what they have been learning for the staff) and before bed time we had what is called family time? then after trying to get them all to bed we had our staff meetings seeing that during the day we did not have time to meet. |

After just a couple of days I started to feel my body crying for rest and my energy was starting to run out. Then for about 5 days I was kind of sick, but in the mist of all my stress I could not help to rejoice and praise God for all the work He was doing in the lives of many kids at the camp. Alex as I shared before was not a Christian but after just a couple of days He was sharing that God was speaking to Him and gave his life to Christ on the day that I gave a teaching on Holiness. It was amazing to be able to see how God was changing his life. |

When our outreach was all most over I sat down tried, stressed out with all the problems we where having, (to tell the truth wanting to cry) and I guess not see the results that I waited for. Then God started confronting me about the fact that it is not by my works or by Kings Kids or Youth With a Mission that will determine the growth of the seeds that we plant because I Eli can not make a seed grow? only God can do that. |

That is way I want to acknowledge all of you that have supported me, thank you so much for all the sacrifices you have made to help bless me and many other lives have been blessed through you. In our lives we may not see the impact that our lives have made in others but for that reason we can never stop reflecting the love of Christ for others to see. They may not know you or your name but through you others came to know the name above all names Jesus Christ!!!!! |

I am planning on working more with Kings Kids this year, also I am going to be working more with some of the churches here in the slum with the teenagers. With the hope to be able to bring other teenagers to the Kings Kids camp in July. |

What I liked the most was when we went to the juvenal prison and I told them about the love of Christ and many of them make a commitment with God. They said that when they get out of prison the first that they would do is seek God, and with that I was very happy. We also went to a elderly home and a shelter for teenagers with out mother or father. |

With your collaboration I learned many things about God. I learned choreography (dances) and make new friends. I am very happy that I had this opportunity and I hope we can have more opportunities to get to know other places and get to know God all the more every time. |
