Location and boundaries
- Cotabato province lies in the southern part

Incentives
- Tax Exemption Privileges and
Incentives
In addition to the incentives
provided by law and the Local Government Code of
1991, a registered enterprise qualified under
this code shall enjoy the following tax
incentives:
- One year after the start of its commercial
operation, a registered enterprise shall be
granted exemption (of provincial share) of taxes
under the existing Provincial Revenue Code or
specifically but not limited to the following
taxes:
- Tax on business, printing/ publication
- Amusement Tax
- Franchise Tax
- Sand and Gravel Tax
- Tax on delivery trucks and vans; and in no
case shall said incentive exceed one (1)
year.
- Enterprise qualified under this Code, may
likewise avail itself of the transfer of
ownership tax incentive upon the approval of
registration.

- Halad sa Sto. Nino Festival -

- Fruit Festival - a celebration of
Kidapawan City's foliage change according to the
tropical fruits in season - violet for
mangosteen; green and yellow for lanzones, guava
and banana; green and red for rambutan, marang;
green and brown for durian, etc. Trees along the
highway are adorned with these harvests marking
the beginning of the Fruit Festival. Booths are
decorated with fruits and so are the animals
used in parading the bountiful
harvest.
