Benguet

   

Location and boundaries

  • Benguet is bounded by the provinces of Pangasinan on the south, La Union and Ilocos Sur on the west, Mountain Province on the north and Ifugao on the east.
  • The province has a total Land area of 261,648 hectares with La Trinidad as its capital.
  • Benguet has rugged and sloping terrain, deep valleys, and four major rivers which drain into the China Sea. Hot springs also abound in Benguet.
  • Benguet has a temperate climate that ranges from a low of 8.6 degrees Celsius from December to February to a high of 26 degrees Celsius during summer months of April and May
