I had originally created my own chapter using the rules for the Salamanders Chapter that came out in the Codex: Armageddon. But with the new Codex rules out, I changed my Chapter to fit to what I thought they would, or should be like.

The colors that I had painted on my minis were dark blue with violet and lighter blue highlights and shading. Here's an example, nice eh? --->

I love the Salamander color scheme, it's really great, I just didn't ( and really couldn't ) repaint a full third of my army green, although I was really tempted to do so. Even so, having green as the main color for an ice world Chapter didn't really sound all that too convincing.
(Although if you haven't figured it out green is my favorite color)

Unlike that of the of a fire based theme that were the Salamanders, my Chapter would be more of the Frozen variety. I wanted them to kinda be distinct, and a lot of other chapters are about fire this, burning that, and flame whatever so I thought that a cold based chapter would be really cool, so to speak.
