*I'll See You Again*

Disclaimer: I don't own the characters, the places, everything. I just want to write a fanfic about it.

As the wind blew, a red leaf gently fell on the ground.  Misao just looked at it while leaning against the trunk of an almost dead tree.  Thoughts swirled in her head as the gentle breeze swirled around her.  'What's wrong with me, Aoshi-sama?  Why can you not understand what I feel for you?!'

Back at the Aioya, Aoshi meditates in his place.  Even though he is meditating, he couldn't get Misao out of his head.  He tried to drive it out but he can't and ended up thinking, 'Misao-chan... why are you haunting my thoughts???'

A squirrel saw Misao and it went to her.  She let it sit on her shoulder.  She looked at it and then talked to it.  "You know, I think I will just give up loving Aoshi... It seems hopeless.  My waiting has been so long.  What do you think?"  The squirrel, as if it understood what Misao had said to it, nodded its head.  "Well, I guess that's it.  No more Aoshi-sama for me..." Misao confirmed to herself.

Aoshi opened his eyes.  He stood up and looked out of his windows to see if Misao is outside.  Misao wasn't there.  'Where could she be?  Will I look for her?' Aoshi thought.  But Aoshi's cold side fought him.  'Why am I gonna look for her, anyway?  She's just a child who I took care of.'  He argued with himself.  His cold side lost.  So, he went out to find Misao.

Misao put the squirrel back to the tree branch and she walked away so lonely, so sad.  She stopped and looked the falling red leaf and caught it with her hand.  She examined it and let go of it.  "Sigh..."  She went back to the Aioya.

Aoshi went everywhere inside the Aioya but it seems that Misao is really not in there.  Aoshi was about to enter his place when he heard some footsteps.  He turned around hoping to see Misao but it was just Okina wandering around the Aioya.  He sighed and just went inside.

Misao arrived at the Aioya.  She didn't see anybody roaming around.  She sighed.  'Nobody's outside... I'll just go in my room.' She went on.  She passed by Aoshi's place.  She stopped in front of it.  She faced it and thought, 'Aoshi-sama... goodbye...'  She continued walking going in the restaurant and in to her room.

Aoshi looked out of the window again hoping that she would go out and that he might be able to see her.  But there was nobody out there.  He sighed. 'Where is she???'  He just went back meditating.

Misao brought tea to Aoshi.  They had their tea time.  As usual, they didn't talk.  But they have so many things in their minds.  'Aoshi-sama... are you gonna talk or what?' Misao thought almost losing her patience.  'Misao-chan, I need to tell you something...' Aoshi thought.  'Hmm... Will I tell him?' Misao wondered.  'Aoshi, you can do it. Tell her already!  Tea time's almost over!' Aoshi fought himself.  Misao put down her empty tea cup as well as Aoshi.  Misao returned the tea set onto the tray.  Aoshi helped her as well.  'Aoshi?  It's unusual for him to help...'  Misao wondered.  "Ehem!" Aoshi faked a cough to get her attention.  "Yes?" Misao responded with a smile. "Uh... Please tell everyone that tomorrow I won't be staying here." Aoshi muttered.  'Stupid! That's not what I want to say!' Aoshi scolded himself but his face still remains as it is.  "Oh... Okay." Misao nodded.  "Aoshi-sama, I'll be leaving now. Goodbye!^.^"

'Wait Misao-chan!' But it's hopeless. He wasn't able to stop her.  No words came out of his mouth as a signal to stop her.  That was the last of it that he could see Misao for he'll be leaving tomorrow.

Misao sighed.  'Well at least he talked and helped me.  It's really hopeless... He'll leave tomorrow...'  She walked back to the kitchen and left the tea set.

At 3:oo A.M., Aoshi left his place.  He is about to leave when something came into his mind. 'I must say goodbye to my Misao-chan...'  So, he went to the room of Misao, where she was still sleeping under the covers of her futon like a child.  Aoshi slowly sat down and bent over her and whispered, "Goodbye, my Misao-chan.  I'll see you again."  He gave Misao a warm kiss on her cheek.  This caused Misao to move.  Aoshi left a red leaf beside her and he left the room.

The sun shone, the roosters crowed and Misao was awakened by it.  Misao thought, 'Was that a dream he kissed me?'  Then, she looked out to see if he's still there. 'No sign of him... Oh well...'  She sighed.  She was about to stand when she saw something red beside her futon.  It was a red leaf.  It has holes that say something.  It says, "Misao-chan, I love you... Goodbye for now,  I'll see you again."  Misao read it and a tear rolled down her cheek.
