One true thing...

Around 1995, I met Adam when he came to my high school. He was recovering from a really bad car wreck ( was in a coma for 3 months) and needed to finish high school that had a physical therapy department included. Well my school was the only one in the county with one, so he joined us and I knew there was something special about him when I met him. I don't believe in love at first site, but he had a spark or some sort of "mystery" about him that intrigued me from the beginning. Our friendship was kinda rocky at first, mostly because he was adjusting to his new life, new friends, etc...so he had calloused over his heart and feelings during his recovery and made it hard to get to know him. But we eventually grew closer and I started falling for him. I "chased" him for about 2 years and finally gave up our senior year.

Now....why is it that men never return your advances until YOU stop yours? Well that's what happened....I gave up and to make a long story short, he gave me our first kiss on our last day of senior year, we started "talking" after graduation and this past April has made it 3 years for us.
Adam is 6'2" and I'm only 3ft, so we get some looks and we have had to make some adjustments to our lives and our relationship. But otherwise, we have a great bond and a lot of love between us. We're both extremely stubborn and it shows in our arguements :P But he's my first love and a first of many things, and I hope that if everything goes well, he'll be the only one... ( hears everyone in the back saying " Awwwwwwwww"..)

July 2001 - Adam was a groomsman at his best friend's wedding. Check out the snazzy tux! I never realized he cleaned up so nice! :P
