Lady Nilephelien

The Lady Nilephelien Ringrog was born of Ascaoriel and Firnalcarion Ringrog of Lothlorien near the end of the 3rd age. The War of the Ring was nearly over, but was still in intense heat and battle. Unbeknownst to the family, they lived in peace. Near the beginning of her childhood, things changed dramatically. The most influential person in her life, her grandmother, died, leaving her in deep emotional agony. Her parents were a comfort, but she couldn't cope with the vast cavern that was left in her heart. Also, no one knew how she died, so there was a shadow of doubt hanging over her. She would go off into the woods for hours upon hours and dwell on her memories of her grandmother. Through constant thought and research, she gained much knowledge in elven medicine and various and sundry other things. Though she had many friends, she never wanted to do much of anything with them because she was so busy studying. One day, while she was still a young elf, she was in the forest and noticed someone stumbling around through the trees, worn from battle. Startled at first, she drew back and almost ran, but knowing that there were plenty of healing herbs in the forest, she walked gently up to the man and helped him to the bench she had occupied until then. She healed his shoulder and legs and bandaged his wounds, but had not noticed the gentle glow coming from his face. Looking up into his face, she noticed how young he looked, yet so depressed, pain beyond his years. She knew that this was not just a normal battered soldier retreating from battle, but was a regal general who was forced off the battle field in threat of capture. After realizing this, she asked how he faired and how he came to the forest. He said that his name was Lostalcarion, General over the elves of Rivendell. Immediately, she bowed in reverence and started singing a song in old Sindarin that Lostalcarion did not recognize until she ended in tears. He then understood and realized her knowledge of the Old World. He was amazed and wanted her to come with him to Rivendell to introduce her the Lord Elrond and to have her knowledge tested to see if she could take a place of power in the Council. Humbled, she denied, but through further encouragement, she accepted and accompanied the wounded general to Rivendell. From then on, after her testing, she was deemed as Lady Nilephelien, Wisest of all Elves. Even now, she goes into the forests and reminisces over her past experiences and thinks of how to improve her reign, and how to make things more beneficial to her people.
