Ruler: Kiel Adler

Like most of the western realms, Wierech is wild and mostly unsettled. For a brief time, it rivaled northern Danigau in strength and prestige, but pride brought about its downfall. The old Duke of Wierech (a hereditary title dating back to the days before the Free League) established the fortress at Aldersburg to keep watch on the Gorgon. He paid the dwarves of Baruk-Azhik and the stonemasons of Danigau well to build an indestructible fortress, and nearly suceed, but now it stands as a reminder to all who believe the Gorgon came be beaten. A reminder that time is one his side, and that pride can also destroy.
