The Protector Rhiana Waynumuun tries very hard to maintain some order over her kingdom, but hallow very much the freedom of the legendary elven empires of long ago. The Protector is young though and few people believe she up to the task of running the realm effectively.

Long Ago, before the
humans arrived, the Coulladaraight spread far and wide to join the Sielwode in
the west and the Rhuannadaraught in the east, and even the Grovnekevic Forest to
the north, but now all that has changed. The elves of the Sielwode are few
and insular, those of the Grovnekevis has all but died out, and the Lamia sits
in the midst of the once-great Rhuannadaraight. Only the Coulladaraight
remains as a memorial to the ancient elven forest kingdoms and empires, at least
this is how the elves of Coullabhie see it.
