Hey, you found the secret page!

Hey, since I know none of you would be interested in this otherwise, I slipped it in here. Just so you won't feel completely put out I'll give you something pretty to look at.

About Me

Why the name Java Green?

Well, my first online name was blue latte, and I can still be found on icq under that. It was because I like coffee and blue was my favorite colour. Later it was joked that talking to me was adictive. Java Green is spawned by much the same. Love coffee and my favorite band was Green Day.

What's your basic profile?

Single, white, twenty-two year old female from a small farming community in Eastern Ontario called Carp.

Hair colour?

Various and assorted. It was originally brown.

Any distinguishing marks?

A happy face tattoo wearing a plaid barret, with a coffee cup. I will only have one as this one hurt like a bitch on a rampage.

Pets?

A guinea pig named Oreo, an Iguana named Muffin and a fishie named Bait.

Favorite movies?

Lord of the Rings, So I Married an Axe Murderer, the Three Musketeers (disney) and Braveheart would round out the top four.

Why Slash Fan Fiction?

Honestly, I can't give a difinitive answer to that. Why do you like ice cream? You can describe it, but you can't give a reason as to why you like it so much. The same with slash. I admit the hormonal appeal of seeing two guys going at it is a factor. I also admit that I like the angst and the plot. I enjoy expolring characters and pushing them beyond the limits set by canon.

When did Slash first catch your attention?

I've always had an unconscious pull towards the world of slash. But my first official introduction came from my best friend Sarah in high school. She came across a Mulder/Skinner fiction, and directed me towards the Complete Kingdom of Slash site. The rest is history.

How do you feel about RPS?

I have nothing agaisnt the people that write it. But, i just can't go there. A character is fictional and you can twist and develop them at will. With real people it's weird because you don't actually know them. And if you do it's worse! Plus, I like hurt comfort in my stories and I couldn't put real people through it. Not to mention the feelings could be hurt of the people being written about.

What was your first fandom?

Deep Space Nine, Garak/Bashir will always be near and dear to me. My fiction can be found at my Plain and Simple website, in much need of a re-vamp.

Do you write anything else?

Yep, tried poetry for a bit. I also have an epic original fantasy in the works.

You devoted a page to the Legolas/Aragorn pairing, why is that?

A couple of good reasons...other than Aragorn and Legolas. The pairing is ripe with angst, which I love. As well as the fact that they are both such strong characters it's fun to play with them.

If you could have anything from Middle-Earth, what would it be?

Only one?! Hmmm...I'm torn between Gandalf's hat and Legolas...what do I do? I know! I would take Legolas wearing Gandalf's hat - and nothing else.

Have an odd question to ask me? email it to me and I'll reply on here.
