Well today was the first day on the site. We were setting up camp, and Legolas, Gatomon, and Pikachu already had set about to looking for signs of ponies. Half way into setting up camp, we realized that Link was missing, and we soon found him sleeping amongst the equipment. Artoo was about ready to shock him awake, when our attention was grabbed by an overly oppressive voice. At that very moment Princess Zelda waltzed onto the site through the hole in the wall created by Link. "Excuse me are you in charge?" She asked Irvine. Irvine as gentlemanly as always tipped his hat to her and said, "No, but she is." and indicated me. Zelda huskilly walked up to me taking note of the camera equipment, "Do you have a liscense for doing this sort of thing?" "No, but I'm much bigger than you." She looked at me as though I was insolent, "Well I don't think it's right of you to do this without a liscense, don't you agree Link?" Link snored. "Go away before I squish you." I told Zelda. Right then and there I believe Zelda was rather upset that Link had not taken her side, and shook her tiny fist at me, "You haven't seen the last of me. I'M Princess Zelda!" and she then stormed off into the unknown of Wild Pony Terratory.

So far our first day, even though eventful, seemed unfruitful, and towards the afternoon we had lost hope of finding any ponies, when up on the ridge above our camp appeared a curious site. Irvine captured this beautiful shot. What you are looking at is a rare, but beautiful Genetically Altered Pony. This pony has been changed by human hands. As we looked upon this unnatural pony it is a wonder what it has been through. It's behavior was not what one would consider normal pony behavior. I have stated before that ponies are genuinely friendly and civil in human contact. This one froze like a deer in headlights.

When we approached it and attempted conversation with it, it reared on its hind legs threateningly and roared out a challenging whinny. Before we could say or do anything, it turned and galloped full speed into the sunset. In its majestic exit, we wondered if we would ever see such a thing again. What it left us with was an enigma in the pony world. How many more genetically altered ponies are there, and what pains do they endure in the realms of humans? Do ponies take abuse in the co existance between humans and ponies? We all lay in our sleeping bags that night pondering the day's events. Back to Herd Adventures Back to Mane Page
