She looked out into the night so fair,
Her favorite time of day she said,
Her shoulder length and layered hair,
Sat still on her perfect head,
She
looked out at a lonely star,
And heaved a heavy weary sigh,
So loved by many from afar,
Yet no one stood at her side,
She brushed
her brown hair from her eyes,
Away from the dark brown pools,
That reflect your soul when you realize,
That those who do not love her are fools,
How could
this girl so fair and strong,
Yet with a gentle soul,
Be hurt so badly and done wrong,
When you should gently hold,
This girl
who makes me glad to be,
Alive and so aware,
That she's a better person than me,
The girl with dark brown hair,
I wish I
was there by her side,
Even though she doesn't need,
My presense there for her to hide,
The heartfelt wounds she bleeds,
If only I
had wings to fly,
To her, to share her pain,
I wish I could, I wish to try,
To make her whole again,
But now she
hides her feelings deep,
Behind a pretty smile,
A smile that makes me keep,
Some hope just for a while,
I hope she
knows just how I feel,
And feels the love I send,
This love is true, this love is real,
My love to you my friend.

rhyme as you can tell has no relation whatsoever to Van Morrison's Brown
Eyed Girl. :) This was for a friend. |
