| Once In A Lifetime Once in a lifetime, it will happen to you, Once in a lifetime you'll know. It will come as a stranger, dressed in a dream, Hang on and don't ever let go. It will take you and break you and tear you apart, It will touch every part of your life. It will fill you with passion that you've never known, It will cut through your heart like a knife. You will love it and hate it and try to escape, You won't understand how you feel. You'll think that you're lost in a land of your own, And that nothing around you is real. You will want to hang on, yet you'll want to let go, For your body will ache with such pain. And just when you think you can't take anymore, It will fill you with passion again. For once in a lifetime, it will happen to you, Once in a lifetime you'll know. It will come as a stranger, dressed in a dream, Hang on and don't ever let go. B.P. |

| The End The golden bands that we'd exchanged... The promises we'd made... The lifetime that we'd vowed to share... Now on the dresser laid. Through the tears I saw you leaving, As you closed the door that night. And I knew that it was over, Nothing left in me felt right. I didn't know where I was going... Or if I'd ever make it there. I didn't want to think about it... I didn't even want to care. Then a little voice from somewhere... Brought me back to today. "Mommy, Please don't cry no more... I Love You...Everyway." B.P. |
| Drifting Apart There is a space in my heart, reserved just for you. It will always be there, for the rest of time. We've been through a life together... A very special life. But now our lives are changing... We're seeing things in a different light, and we're growing apart. We both need something that's different from what we needed before. Our love for each other has changed... not dissapeared. We've found it hard to stay together, and it hurts. But we have to go our own ways, so we can grow and be happy. Please don't be bitter... Try to understand that you'll always be a part of my life... A part that is irreplaceable. My love for you now plays a different role... As will your love for me. Annette Bullack |
| Our Lives Touched Love had but a little while, so love made me your friend. The time thus spared, so briefly shared, was all love had to lend. I loved you for that moment when lives did briefly touch. But in it's way, love wouldn't say how lasting or how much. If life gives us another chance, we'll have the time to see, if love will have the patience, to favor you and me. But since we cannot hope to know just what the future sends... | I Care When the world closes in and lies so heavily upon you... Remember that I Care. When the ones with whom you share your life seem like strangers... Remember that I Care. When love seems to only bring you pain... Remember that I Care. What cannot be, cannot be. But always remember, I Care. Never be afraid to come to me, if you have need of the simplest thing. | Storms in My Heart There was thunder and lightning and I felt the pain. There were storms in my heart and the tears fell like rain. The seasons were changing... Our love had grown cold. Though I tried to hang on... there was nothing to hold. The love that we'd known and the dreams that we'd shared, lay shattered and broken... Our souls had been bared. All the joy turned to sorrow, the laughter to pain. So lonely and empty... The tears fell like rain. "What happened?", I asked you, "To the love we once shared? To the dreams and the promises, To the way we once cared?" You no longer hold me, we no longer talk... The distance has broken my heart. I'm aching and hurting, I can't make it stop... My whole life is falling apart. So, I'm leaving today... I'm going away... To start my life over again. And I'll love you and miss you, much more than you'll know... But I must stop the hurt and the rain. B.P. |
| Someday Someday I'll sail my boat with you and climb a mountain high. Someday I'll reach so very far I'm sure I'll touch the sky. Your hand in mine... We'll walk for miles,and never reach the end. Someday you will be more to me... than being just my friend. I'll hold you when you need me and try to make things right. I'll try to take away all your lonliness and fright. Someday, if you can only wait... until I'm ready Dear. I know that I will want you to be with me, always here. Someday, I'll build a house upon a hill and call it home. And you will never have to worry that you are alone. But I'm not ready Darling, for all these dreams today. So, if you'll wait awhile for me... Please Darling, won't you stay? Please don't run away from me, because of what I am. Someday, I'm sure we'll make it... If you'll only say we can. There's a Special Feeling that I have inside for you... | Shattered Dreams Like a shattered china doll My heart lay broken on the floor. You took what I had offered, Though you treasured it no more. You played with my emotions... Toyed with feelings we once shared. I trusted you...you lied to me... You never really cared. I believed in all our dreaming... Building castles in the sky. Now our dreams have turned to nightmares, And I know not reasons why. You don't hold me in the morning... You don't lie with me at night. You can't take away the hurting... You can not make it right. The love that I once felt for you Will never be the same. I'll never wear your ring... Or ever bare your name. Today, I'm picking up the pieces Of this shattered, broken heart To close my eyes and dream again... I'm making a new start. B.P. |
