Yes I'll put a magic picture up here sometime. When they do anime art on a magic card, I'll take the pic and put it on my stories. On Saturday was the sneak preview of Mirrodin, the most recent magic set. Again, Alvin and I went. This one was at Damansara. This was a sealed deck tournament - they provide the cards and you build a deck. I was playing a 4-color deck because I felt I didn't have much choice. Expected to lose horribly. Round 1: Michael Hong
I've played him twice. He won once and I won once. He was playing a white-red deck. In the first game, he had clockwork dragon and a 2/2 flying creature. My life went down like this: 20-19-18-17-15-14-12-2. 10 damage in that one turn. His life: 20-15-dead! Phew! He neglected to leave behind blockers and I attacked for 16 damage: a goblin war wagon (3/3) equipped with vulshok gauntlets (+4/+2), a nim lasher (7/1), a slith attendant (1/1) and a yotian soldier (1/4) - 16 damage altogether!
He got his clockwork dragon again. My life went 20-18-16-14. Then I got Tel-Jilad Archers and Malachite Golem and stopped the beatings. I had Vulshok Gauntlets too. his life went 20-14-5 then he gave up. Huge amounts of painful damage!

Round 2: Quah Ho Gene
A newbie, playing a white-blue deck. He had an Alpha Myr (2/1) and 2 Scale of Triss-Goria (target creature gets +0/+1) protecting it, and a tooth of triss-goria making it stronger (+1/+0). My life: 20-18-16-13-10-7-4. Ouch! I finally stopped it with a Pyrite Spellbomb (2 damage to kill it in response to him trying to pump it). From then his life went 20-15-8 dead. Notice how my games involve me taking damage until i stabilize and whack 2 or three times to seal their fate?
Next game was easier. My life went 20-16-15 and stayed there. I got Spikeshot Goblin, equipped with Bonesplitter (+2/+0) and slaughtered his critters. His life: 20-18-21-17-11-8-2-give up.

Round 3: Au Yong
I've faced him 4 times so far. 2 draws, 2 losses for me. He was playing a mono-white deck. Round one his life went 20-17-16, and mine went 20-11-2-dead. Ouch. He used Empyrial Plate.
Second game I managed to kill his Empyrial Plate, then he played another one! What luck! 2 empyrial plates from a tournament pack and 2 booster packs. Luckily I had some flying creatures, and killed him with 2 predator's strikes (my creature got +3/+3 and trample for each). My life: 20-18-16-13-11-8. His life: 20-17-13-8-dead.
Third game, he got his empyrial plate again. His life: 20. My life: 20-15-9-7-3-dead. That's 3 losses to Au Yong. I've never beaten him.

ROund 4: Khoo Wei Ren (final round)
My first game against Wei Ren, even though he's been around for a long time. He got a flayed nim. 2/2, pay 2B to regenrate, whenever it deals damage to a creature it deals equal damage to creature's controller (essentially, there's no point blocking it because it doesn't die and it's damage is going to go through to you anyway). That killed me. My life: 20-18-16-14-12-10-7-4-give up. His life: 20-15-12. He was playing a white-black deck.
Second game I put Bonesplitter (+2/+0) on a Skyhunter Cub. So the cub became 5/3. I attacked twice to take him to 10 damage, then last turn I added Vulshok Gauntlets to make the cub 9/5, and used predator's strike to make it 12/8 and kill him in 3 attack phases. My life: 20-18-9, his life: 20-15-10-dead.
Third game, he mana screwed, but managed to get an Auriok Transfixer which he used to tap my artifact creatures. He had 11 life left thanks to sacrificing a Bottle Gnomes. My life: 20-19-18-17-15-14-13 (losing life to Disciple of the Vault - whenever an artifact is put into graveyard from play, opponent loses 1 life). His life went 20-17-14-11-8-11. Then I did 11 damage exactly. He had the 1/1 Disciple, a 0/1 Pest, which he used to block my war wagon 3/3, and my stalking stone 3/3. My rustpore ram was unblcoked. I used 2 predator's strikes to make my stones and wagon 6/6 trampling creatures, so 5 damage from each and 1 from the ram=11 damage exactly.

I beat Wei Ren!!!! A pro player!!! who has never beaten me!!! mwahahaha!!!!
