Honeyed Bread & Butter Pudding

Ingredients:

   
  • 6 pcs white bread

  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 50 gm butter

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 285 ml fresh milk
  • 100 gm raisins
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp honey
     
Methods:    

1.

Slice the bread into triangles.

2.

Line a pie dish with bread.

3.

Sprinkle with raisins.

4.

Beat the eggs and egg yolk and  add to milk.

5.

Add the nutmeg powder and honey to milk mixture.

6.

Pour mixture over bread slices.
7. Allow the milk to sip into bread and bake the pudding in an oven at 180°C.
8. Make sure the top of the pudding is browned before removing from oven.
9. This will take 30-40 minutes.
