My intention was to catch the physical effort confined within the tools and walled garden and convert the energy in to a manifestation of the garden ghosts.

The exploration of materials when touched and remembered part of the character of the gardeners who left Heligan for the Great War.

The medium of water as a principal building block for life translates / transforms to Ice with the transient quality and ghost like soul, a metaphor for life it`s self.
