It glows with power and majesty. Fountains and sculptures of various figures adorn the glorious courtyard. Golden roses and ivy climb its walls. In a fire-lit, circular room, a tall figure steps forward to stand in the middle of the floor. His green hair and robes give him a mystical look. Yet the clouds contained in his magenta eyes give him an almost old appearance, as if he'd seen everything there is to see. All around him lavish thrones host the council of planets. The flames flicker across their faces as they nervously await his words... "I am Cronos, God of time. The oracles have spoken. Hear their words: 'We have reached the end of an era, for time has come full circle. Beware of dark forces! The time draws near when good will be replaced by evil, and fear, greed, and hate will rule hearts. That will be when the following shall come to pass. Cords of silver and gold intertwined forever Eight bright lights that burn out never When one falls, the other will fall Mounds of stone and ash left hollow Where silver and gold once lay The fates have spoken already. Run you looms. Weave the pattern of an age to come.' ********************** A beautiful woman with china-blue eyes and long silver hair coming from two balls argues with a radiant male figure. He has short wispy black hair and bright red eyes. A soft, golden light emanates from his skin. ...Are you suggesting that after a thousand years of peace, that we break the alliance?!" "We were never apart of The Silver Millenium in the first place!" "None-the-less, we have an agreement. If fate has ruled that this take place, than so be it! I will not stand in the way of destiny's path." Cronos steps forward. "I am as old as time itself. However, the doors of the future have closed themselves. Even I cannot see past them. Because of that, this council meeting has become crucial. Remember, one ripple in the ever-flowing stream of time creates an entirely new setting to work with. If any attempts are going to be made to stop the events foretold in the prophecy, the time is now. The decisions we make here and now shall dictate what our fate is to be." "Then it must be done." "Wait! We must have time to absorb all that has been said...to think about the repercussions this could have." "Selenity, the consequences lie before you in the prophecy. If we do not act, then destruction shall be our fate! Gaea and I have a son. To him our kingdom belongs. We want to see him attain it. You will soon have a child. Think of its well being and happiness. We do this for all of our children's preservation. Apollo is gone. Now almost every one of us has lost a mate! Do not let your child's future slip through your fingers while you have the chance to do something about it!" Selenity looks down at her swollen belly. She whispers, "For you, my precious one." She lifts her head to face the god of the sun. "Very well. If all the members of The Silver Millenium give their approval, let the decree be issued." Selenity turns toward one of the most beautiful women alive. Long blond hair falls into gorgeous curls that rest on the floor. Her long, pale orange dress beautifully accents her every curve. She speaks in a soft, sweet tone. "I am Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty. I will uphold and enforce the sanction." "As will I, Ares, god of war and fire." Ares has hair the color of night, and fiery red eyes, which would burn anything in an instant. Cunning and a warlike spirit give him great strength. "I am Hermes, the god of wisdom and of the shallow waters. I give my consent." "I am Cronos, the god of time." His wife has long black hair and eyes the very color of death. Her cold and pale skin causes her to seem almost dead, but her mild and gentle spirit brings life to her blue veins. "And I am Hades, goddess of death. Together we also vow to uphold the decree." "I am Io, god of thunder and lightning. I will uphold the sanction." Io has green hair, and a large muscular body. Deep blue eyes soften his appearance. "I am Poseidon, god of the deep sea. I voice my agreement." He sits sadly on his throne. The one next to him is empty. His wife is gone, just like Apollo before her. His deep blue eyes reflect the turmoil and tumultuousness of the waves of the sea. "I am Aeolus, god of wind. I also give my consent." Aeolus was as strong as his power and never faltering. His white hair and blue eyes brought an easy, confident spirit to all who face him. "I am Selenity, goddess of the moon and queen of The Silver Millenium. In accord with the decision of my court, I hereby declare the alliance ended." "I am Sol, god of the sun. I am Gaea, goddess of earth." Gaea is as beautiful as Selenity and Aphrodite. She has long, rich black hair. But her eyes are the most remarkable thing about her. Her midnight-blue eyes could cause anyone to drown in their depths. "As the King and Queen of The Golden Kingdom, we declare that all ties of our kingdom to The Silver Millenium are now and forever ended. May this ordinance bring about and keep everlasting peace."
