Prince Endymion Strikes Back Chapter 8/? Endymion saw Diamond appeared from the dark mist. Diamond's dark blue eyes showing anger to Endymion for coming to to his palace and for trying to rescue Serenity. "Well, well, your prince charming has arrived!" Diamond told Serenity, his voice filled with hatred. "So you planned to rescue MY Serenity all along, little Earth prince" Diamond mocked. "You don't own me!" Serenity shouted him. "Oh yes I do." Diamond said. "And since when?" Serenity asked. "Since the day that prince of yours left you." Diamond answered, looking towards Endymion's direction. "Release Serenity at once!" Endymion ordered. "You can't tell me what to do. After all, I'm a prince too." Diamond told him. "Tell me something Endymion, did you come here to save her because you love her or her mother asked for your help, hmmmmm?" Diamond asked him. Endymion didn't answer. "Answer me!" Diamond shouted at him. But still, no answer came from Endymion. "Well then, I'm not going to force you to answer me anymore. Let's finish this deal. If you win this battle, you'll have Serenity. If you don't, she'll be mine." Diamond said, his eyes burning with anger. "I'm not some kind of toy!" Serenity exclaimed. "Shut up princess!" with that Diamond increased the dark energy around Serenity, and after a few moments she fainted. "Serenity! Now you'll pay for this!" Endymion said, now his eyes show greater amount of anger than Diamond. Endymion prepared himself for Diamond's attack. The battle between them was so intense. Diamond had lost a lot of energy but Endymion looked as if nothing happened to him. Diamond formed another dark energy ball, draining his remaining energy and he was sure he will defeat Endymion even it cost his own life. Endymion saw that Diamond was using all his power to defeat him. Endymion also noticed that the dark energy that surrounded Serenity began to fade away. He returned his eyes to Diamond, now with a big energy ball in his hand...and Endymion will not allow him to win. And then there came the last blow, almost everything in the palace was destroyed. Endymion protected Serenity by blocking the energy, indeed Endymion is too powerful for Diamond to handle. After the dust have faded, both of them saw Diamond. He was dead, because he lost his life with that final blow. "It's okay now." Endymion said. "He's not going to bother you again." he said helping Serenity up. Then they stayed long standing in front of each other, their gazes locked. On impulse, Serenity pulled Endymion's head down for a passionate kiss. When she felt that he didn't respond to her kiss, she pulled away, tears starting to make its way down her cheek. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that." Serenity said, avoiding Endymion's gaze. "I...I just want to thank you...for saving me." Serenity added, still avoiding his gaze. "Let's go, I'll take you home." Endymion said, motioning Serenity to follow him as he started to leave. Serenity looked at him and thought 'Maybe he came here because mother asked him to. But I don't blame her. I can't just change one's feelings just like that.' and after that, she followed Endymion. Serenity came home safe in their kingdom, thanks to Endymion. But as soon as Queen Serenity saw the look in her daughter's eye, she knew that something happened between them.
