Endymion sat down on his bed, tracing the
beautiful patterns on the star locket. He was in deep
thought on when he's going to find his other
half...his future queen. His thoughts were interrupted
by a knock on his door. He opened it and it was his
mother. "Endy, please come with me to the throne room.
Someone wants to see you" his mother told him. "Okay
mother" he answered.
So they went to the throne room and when they got
there, he was surprised to see Queen Serenity. Queen
Serenity stood there, eyes filled with tears.
"Endymion, please help me save my daughter. Something
terrible happened!" the queen pleaded. 'Serenity!' he
thought. "What happened your majesty?" he asked. "She
was captured by Prince Diamond of the Dark Moon
kingdom" the queen answered. 'And you're the only one
that can save her' the queen added to herself. "May I
be excused your majesty? I'll prepare myself and leave
as soon as possible" Endymion said. "Thank you" the
queen said.
That night, he went to the rose gardens to
clear his mind. 'After this battle, I'll find her'
Endymion promised to himself, clutching the star
locket closer to his chest. Few minutes later, he
decided to go back to his room to get some sleep.
Meanwhile at the Dark Moon kingdom, Serenity
too was having deep thoughts...

It was the day Endymion would leave their
kingdom. She recalled what happened the previous
night. She had just confessed her love to
Endymion...and was heartbroken. She picked up a locket
from her dresser, a star locket. She picked up a small
piece of paper and a pen and started to write
something...

'I fell in love with Endymion when I was twelve.
Everytime I see him, I always wanted to
thow myself into his arms and stay like that
forever. Until now, I'm still in love with
him...but it is only in my dreams.
Last night I confessed my love...but I'm broken
at the end. I'm giving this locket to him
together with my wishes and prayers and hoping
that someday he'll find the girl that was
meant for him.'

After that, she opened a small secret
compartment of the locket and placed her note inside
it. The locket was useless to her, because the man she
love just broke her heart. She took the locket and ran
towards her mother's chamber. "Mother? May I come in?"
Serenity asked. "Of course my dear" then Serenity
entered her mother's room. She went closer to her and
asked her mother a favor, "Mother, can you give this
to Endymion?" her eyes pleading. Seeing the star
locket surprised the Queen. "But you kept that locket
for a long time! Why are you giving this to him?" the
Queen asked and Serenity told her everything. "I see.
So that's why you wanted me to give this to him" the
Queen said. "Yes" Serenity answered. "Don't worry my
dear, I'll give this to him" the Queen said. "Oh,
Thank you!" after that, Serenity embraced her mother.
