Serenity stood on her balcony, the cool night air slightly tousling her hair. She smiled gently. The Earth hovered before her. The planet she desperately wanted to visit.
Princess Serenity walked along her balcony, enjoying the feel of the brisk wind seemingly bathing her luxurious skin. Her bright blue eyes kept its gaze on the blue-greenish planet called Earth. Serenity had heard to many wondrous tales of the Earth's power, and beauty. Oh, how she wanted to see for herself this marvelous planet full of life. But the truth is that she couldn't.
Tears welled up in Serenity's eyes at the thought of why.
A shadow stood behind her, her hair in the same style as Serenity's.
Queen Serenity stood beside her daughter, knowing the reason to her daughter's misery. "Serenity, it'll be alright. Earth can't be our rival and enemy for long. Everything will work out." The Queen embraced Serenity tightly, comforting her. Serenity hugged back.

"But when Mother? I want to go to Earth so badly it hurts. I feel a part of my soul is there..I want to experience the majestic feeling of being on that very planet." Serenity hugged her mother back, the tears subsiding.
Queen Serenity looked at her daughter sympathetically. "Serenity, don't worry. Come in. It's getting cold."
Serenity nodded, and after taking another longing glance at the Earth, she went inside with the Queen.

Serenity couldn't fall asleep that night. She wondered in an alliance of the two kingdoms of the moon and Earth will work sometime in the future. Serenity pulled the sheets up to her chin. "I want to visit Earth." She whispered to the air. "And I shall...tonight." Without another thought, she pulled off the covers. "I will be back when it is time. Sorry, my mother and friends. Please don't be worried and understand."
Serenity scribbled down a note hurriedly, leaving it by her bedside. She knew the servants would find it the next day.

*On Earth*
Serenity landed on Earth safely. ‘The air is much fresher and crisper.' She thought to herself. It was daytime now; the sun shone brightly. Everything was going fine until she took her first step...
Like a baby learning to walk, Serenity was like that. She wobbled and almost fell, but regained her balance. She wasn't used to the gravitational pull here on Earth. ‘Man, this is tougher than I thought.' She took some time to adjust to her surroundings. She was in a garden of some sort she realized. A beautiful garden, one that reminded her of the Moon Kingdom. "Oh Mother...please forgive me."

"And just you are you, and how dare you to invade my private gardens!" A voice boomed.
Serenity gasped sharply, her whole body trembling with fright. "I..." She turned around, her frightened eyes meeting with icy blue ones. "Just who are you?" The stranger with the intense blue eyes asked suspiciously.

‘His eyes...so...handsome...' Perhaps this first encounter wasn't going to be their last.
Serenity stayed there, transfixed at the color of his eyes. ‘Blue, just like mine.'

Endymion looked at the girl weirdly. She was a strange one alright. The hair...the dress. ‘She must not be around here.' Endymion looked at her more closely, and saw how beautiful this delicate young woman was. Her slender full form, beautiful, capturing eyes, long, lucius, silky strands of golden silk. She looked like a...goddess in Endymion's opinion. Endymion had never laid eyes on anyone that beautiful before.
"Who are you?" He asked her, more calmly now.
Serenity regained her composure, and spoke. "My name is...Prin...Serenity." She managed to spill out, her face flushing pink for staring at him so much. "And you are?" Serenity inquired.
Endymion smiled slightly. "It is nice to meet you, Serenity. My name is Prince Endymion, of Earth." Hearing this, Serenity's eyes widened. "You're...the prince?"

Endymion chuckled. "Yes, Serenity I am. In case you didn't notice, you are standing in my private rose gardens." Sure enough, the two of them were in the rose garden.
"Oh!" Serenity felt even more embarrassed. ‘I have just made a complete fool of myself. Now what will go wrong?'

"You, get away from our prince!" A guard yelled at Serenity, pointing a finger at her. Serenity stayed still, not knowing what to do. She didn't even know what was going on. "Yes you, child of the moon!"
Serenity froze. So he had found out that Serenity was from the moon. But how? Her thoughts were shattered as the guard charged towards her, preparing to slash her with his sword.

Well, there's the end to my very short prologue. I'm so sorry if this story is poorly written, because I feel that this story doesn't match up to my other stories. I just had to write it though. This plot may seem a little something like "To Be With You", but when I was plotting this story, I had no intention for it to be this way. Please do tell me if you liked it or not. I love feedback! Please send all comments, suggestions, etc. to LisaZUMstories@aol.com, or review my story. Thanks for reading!
