Your usually up before the sun rises." Kunzite commented coming into his prince's bedroom expecting to see him ready for the day like he usually was but instead found him still a lump of covers "Go away" came a muffled respond "So have a good time last night?" he asked trying to rile him out of bed. A crop of black hair came from beneath the covers and once again dropped on the pillow. Slowly inhaling the lingering sent of 'her' perfume Endymion let out a slow sigh "It surpasses the definition of good. It surpasses the definition of perfect. " Kunzite rolled his eyes. 'If he could just learn to control his hormones. Settle down. Take his duties more seriously' eyeing Endymion wearily who still seemed to be starring off into nothing. "So what her name this time?" he asked "Usagi" he breathed out. "And don't say it like that! She's different" he protested getting up from bed. "I'm sure she's special. So was Melissa and Anne. There were all 'special' and still in less then a week theirs always a new one" Kunzite commented. Endymion glared at him. "Well this one is really special. " "Well, well. I've received my second surprise for the day. Has the great prince Endymion finally been brought to his knees?" he replied mockingly. " She might have done so " he said simply. "You cant' be serious Endymion? You haven't even known her for more then 24 hours and now here you are saying your falling in love with her? The only women I've heard you say you love is your mother. But I don't think that counts" Kunzite said non-believing. Endymion walked over to his balcony and looked out. The sounds and sights of war could be seen at the horizon, a sudden explosion going off once in a while. He remained silent to his generals accusation. 'He's right. It was only one night. How can I be feeling these emotions already?' The flicker of doubt flashed through his midnight eyes and Kunzite saw it and breathed out a sigh of relief. "You see, I knew it wouldn't last. Even now that warm and fuzzy feeling is fading. You'll never change Endymion. One minute your spouting sonnets and the next well . .you've forgotten the girl's name entirely." "Her name is Usagi and it's not going to be like that" he replied weakly. "Well I'm glad it at least lasted a day. But don't worry. When we get back to Earth, you'll forget all about her" he side patting him on the back. "I don't want to forget about her" Endymion stated simply turning around to face Kunzite "Stop playing games Endymion. What exactly do you plan to do? Take her home with you?" A new light shone through his eyes. "Yes, Kunzite your a genius. That's exactly what I'll do" Kunzite took a step back. Endymion was just full of surprises today. That girl must have really gotten to him he thought to himself. "You know that's not possible. You father will never have it" "And when have I *ever* listened to my father?" he asked smugly. "I also don't give a dame about what my father says. It's my choice and if I want to bring Usagi to Earth" Endymion finished off. "Well, fine. But how about the girl in question. Do you think she would want to leave her family and home behind?" Kunzite continued his questions. "I'll convince her. Her world is dyeing there will be nothing left to live for when the war is over. I'll make her see that" "I see you have this all planned out. But what if. And don't blow up on me again, but this is the truth. What if it doesn't feel as special as it felt before? We all know you'll move on. But what of the girl? Dump her and make her a servant in the castle?" " I would never do that to her!" Endymion snapped back "Okay, so that was a tad exaggerated. But what happens if it isn't perfect? Think about the girl. She'll be alone in a strange planet" Endymion's eyes when cold, his voice matching them. "I said it before. I won't get tired of her. She's not the type of person you get tired of. She's just not like that. ." Kunzite was speechless. He now would have liked to have met this 'Usgai' that happened to actually do something that so many women failed at "Well, you better be telling her that. You don't have much time. The war is a lost cause and the king has sent a notice for us to return" Kunzite said before leaving the Prince with that piece of information. <3******************<3 Queen Serenity looked out her balcony sadly. Her kingdom, so beautiful so prosperous. Destroyed. Gone. All the things she strive for were dying, as was she. The silver crystal her most powerful weapon could have beat them, but at the risk of her own life. Not using it to it's full power didn't kill her but drained her completely. And now she was at the brink. At her state she couldn't even use it to it's full potential anymore. Tears filled the queens silver eyes as she hung her head and wept into her hands. Her silver hair pooling around her as she kneeled on the ground and mourned for her lost kingdom, the lost of her life, and the one thing she promised never to do. A knock came from the door and without even waiting for a response the door opened to reveal Sailor Venus. "Majesty, the Dark Moon Family await your attendance in the meeting hall" she said her voice serious The Queen quickly composed her self and gave Venus a affirming nod. "Please tell Serenity that she too has to come" she said Venus gave a low bow and turned to get Serenity from her room. <3*****************<3 "You would think that the Queen would be on time for the meeting she called herself" a annoyed man with white hair and cold purple eyes complained as he sat next to his mother. "Patience Dear. She is losing this war. There is nothing she can do about it" the woman beside him replied. She wore a long elegant dress gown made of a black material with black fur trimmed around it and her black hair coming to her back. Her skin was extremely pale which was in total contrast with the dark jewels in her necklace and crown. As the black jewels shimmered it matched the look of victory in the Queens eyes. Her eyes, colder then her son's matched her name. They were as her jewels black as Obsidian. "Yes and once we conquer the moon. I will take what is rightfully mine." Diamond said as he smiled smugly. The moon princess was a prize within itself. But also having power over the moon wasn't bad wither. Now he would have both. He told him self. The other man sitting on the other side of the queen still kept silent. He just listened to his families plans. His dark blue eyes simply starring off into nothing. Blue hair falling into his hair. As he brushed them away with his gloves he let out a low sigh. Queen Obsidian looked at her youngest son. "Anything wrong Safir?" she questioned Safir shook his head no. But in his head, everything was wrong. He wanted to go home to the moon yes. But destroy it in the process? No. What was the point of living on the moon if it was as dark and cold as Nemesis? Before Obsidian could ask Safir another question the large doors to the meeting room opened to reveal Queen Serenity with her two royal advisers. ( AN: Umm.. I'm making Luna and Artimis in there human forms ks? I mean who would take a cat seriously in war?.. . Put your hand down Matt) Taking a seat at the other end of the table she looked upon the family of three. "My daughter will be here soon" she announced as Luna and Artimis took seats behind her. Diamond raised a questioning eyebrow. With all the meetings, the princess had never made a appearance. This might just turn out to be a more eventful meeting then he first thought. <3****************<3 "Serenity wake up" A growl and a grumble came from beneath the covers but still no movement from the sleeping princess. "Serenity. It's not the best time to be sleeping in late" Venus continued shaking the bundle on the bed. "I think it's the perfect time to sleep in late" Serenity said sitting up in bed. Her silver hair tousled and her eye filled with drowsiness. "Well yes, because one specific princess spent all last night with a certain gentleman caller" she said pointing out and pulling on her hand to try to pull her up. "Ughs. Why? Do I have to get up?" the princess continued still not yielding to Mina. "Sere. It's important. Your mother wants you to meet with her and the Black Moon Family" she replied gravely. She wasn't going to like it. "WHAT?!" She knew she wasn't going to like it. "Your mother is discussing another peace treaty with them. And she has asked for you to attend also." Mina explained further. Serenity simply stared at her bewildered. Mina sighed. "Please Sere. Get dressed and follow me. Your mother is waiting" She nodded in understanding and stood up to change out of her night gown. It must be serious for Mina to react so seriously. She never attended those meetings. Luna tried to take her to another meeting in the past and it was much to boring for her taste. All she remembered was old people who wouldn't stop talking. Of course that was a couple years past but she still knew it wouldn't be any fun. <3****************<3 The room was silent. It was filled with tension. Queen Serenity asked not to start the meeting until her daughter arrived which attracted Diamonds attention again. Diamond was about to open his mouth to question why it was so important to wait for the princess when the large doors were opened and in entered the princess herself with one of her guardians (he presumed) dressed in a yellow and orange fuku. "Ah there she is" the queen replied as she saw her daughter come in. "I'm sorry mother I didn't know I was needed until recently" she replied with an undercurrent of confusion in her voice. "You weren't? I sent Venus to your room last night to inform you" she asked her eyes turning perplexed. Serenity paled. "Oh yes she did come to me last night. But you know how I am when I sleep. I guess I just didn't remember" she said smiling weakly. "Well no matter" the queen said waving her hand to dismiss the information "You are here now. Serenity dear, we have some guest. Queen Obsidian and her two sons Prince Diamond and Safir the royal family of the Dark Moon" Serenity felt hatred filter in her heart. How can her mother call these people guest? And how exactly was she suppose to greet them? She didn't think 'It's a pleasure to meet you' was the best thing to say when they were the ones trying to kill your home. So Serenity simply nodded and curtsied. Diamond looked apparently at the Princess's form. She was a beauty indeed. He himself hadn't encountered her actually this would be his first time actually seeing her physically. And he had to admit. It was much better then the hologram figure they had on Nemesis. "Serenity please take a seat" her mother motioned to the chair beside her own. "It is wonderful to finally meet the legendary moon princess. You hold no candle to the stories they tell about your beauty" Queen Obsidian replied her eyes set on Serenity's bright silver ones. "Thank you" came her meek reply as she imminently broke eyes contact with the Queen. They were so black and cold. It gave her shivers seeing such bleak eyes. "I'm sorry for the circumstances we have to meet on but the war must go on unless you mother and I have agreed on a treaty" she finished switching from guest to once again conqueror. "Yes, and I've decided to agree to your terms" she said slowly. The information still sinking in for herself. Safir's blue eyes looked surprised at the Queen. She was giving up? She was letting them just take her empire and daughter? Looking at his brother and mother they didn't seem to share his feelings. Instead you could practically see the lustful gaze his brother had set on the princess. And his mother's emotionless black eyes seemed to gleam with victory. Serenity stared unbelievingly at her mother. Had she just said what she thought she did? She was going to surrender? What would happen to the moon? To there people? It couldn't be happening. She was losing her home. "So your agreeing to all the terms? You give up the throne the silver crystal and. your daughter?" Diamond asked making sure it was true. He was so close to absolute victory. "I do not give you the throne. It stays within the family. But you will have it. I offer a betrothal with my daughter. You will marry her and she will become Queen. With you by her side of course" Queen Serenity said quietly she hated to do this to her only daughter. "And the crystal?" Queen Obsidian questioned further. "My daughter will inherit it. It will be of no use to you because it can be only used by a person with the royal moon family blood" she added. Serenity shook her head in disbelief. Her mother was giving in? But it meant peace. She thought to herself. Nobody else would die. But what would happen to her people though? Queen Obsidian didn't seem to be the kind compassionate type of ruler. She was going to lose the home she loved and her freedom. "NO!" she screamed indignantly. "I will not concede to it! It is me that is being offered! And I sit here like I don't matter. It's my life and I will only marry someone I choose. And I do not choose you!" she said pointing to Diamond, who's cold eyes went even colder anger flaring in them at the rejection. "Serenity! You don't have choice in the matter. It is for the good of our people" the Queen said knowing she would react this way and didn't blame her. "The good of our people?! Mother! Think of the kind rule these . monsters would put on our people?! They've already killed hundreds of our soldiers for there selfish cause! They would kill millions more if they were on the throne!" Venus stepped closer to her to console her. But she cringed at her touch and backed away towards the door. "Don't touch me! You knew! You knew didn't you?!" she screamed at her long time friend feeling betrayed. "I'm sorry" Venus said her voice so full of regret. Serenity imminently turned around and ran out of the room heading straight to her room. She was expected just to drop her dreams of marrying for love. She had nurtured and cared for them and now when she had finally found someone that could acutely fulfill her dreams she was expected to forget them and just go marry someone she only knew as a person who wanted to kill her world and take over. Serenity decided she was going to see Mamoru now. It didn't matter she just had to see him. Quickly changing out of her princess gown and into the maid uniform from last night Serenity left her room hoping that nobody would see her. Making her ways down the palace halls she found herself standing in front of the doors that lead to the bedroom she spent in last night. Before she could change her mind she raised her hands to knock on the door. "Who is it?" the voice came from within. It was the voice she had been longing to hear. "Mamo-chan" she replied pressing her hands to the door but not expecting it to be immediately thrown open as she feel forward into his awaiting hands. "Usako a little early aren't we?" he asked looking down at her silver eyes. "I'm sorry. Were you busy?" she sounded worried now. She still wasn't sure what there relationship was even though she knew she loved him. "Of course not." and with that Endymion lowered his face to capture her lips. Serenity replied immediately deepening the kiss much to Endymion's pleasure. As they separated Endymion finally saw her whole face and focused on her tear streaked cheeks. "You've been crying. Did something happen?" he asked his thumb wiping away the dampness of her cheeks but then the tears started to start again. "My mother. Wants me to marry another" she stated simply. Endymion was about to reply but realized that they were still standing right out of his door. Wrapping his arms around Usagi's shoulders he lead her into his room so they could have more privacy and closed the door behind him. <3****************<3 Purple eyes looked on with jealousy and anger as he watched the man with black hair passionately kiss *his* bride to be. If she wanted it or not. It was obvious that things between them weren't platonic. Jealousy filled his veins. Serenity was promised to him! And he would be dammed if he let her run off with her little solider from earth. That man who ever he was didn't' deserve her nobody did but him. He vowed revenge. She would learn to love him and be with him. And if she needed force to be convinced then well that would just be it. They were destined to be together. He saw that. But she didn't seem to see the same light. But she would he promised himself. <3****************<3 Still nothing to say. Wow, I might just be sick..
