It is the result of an extremely overactive imagination, a love of fairy tales in general, a lack of sleep and an over dose of chocolate milk with waaayyyyy to much chocolate syrup and not enough milk.. So read on! Disclaimer: < yeah> <3*************<3 Endymion walked with purpose through the darkened forest of earth. He was running late for the appointment he had every night. One that no one believed, but he didn't care. He just knew he had to see her and maybe this time catch her. His fairy. You don't believe him either? A fairy? Imaginary creatures that fly through the night with glowing bodies and delicate wings. Children believe in them and here we have a grown man, and not just. The prince of earth also believing and even to some extent obsessing over a fairy that he believes he sees every night. A month past on a night of the full moon Endymion had come into the forest to simply escape castle life. It was the usual stuffy castle meetings, with it's boring people and it's musky chilly rooms. Something Endymion wanted to escape from only wanting freedom to do what he wants but born into a life that caused him more strain then wanted. And that's when he saw her. Simply standing by a large willow tree. Her hair blowing with the old trees flapping branches. But her tresses the color of silver and standing out in the darkness that surrounded her. Admiring her from afar Endymion was simply awed at the sight before him. But he blinked and she was gone. So every night he returned only to leave empty handed . Endymion didn't think this night was anything special, but he was still hopeful. So as usual he looked around the forest for any sign that she might have passed by this way. A glimmer catching his eyes Endymion kneeled down and smiled. There obviously was bright silver fairy dust. From his past experiences he noticed that when the nymph would run she would leave a trail of fairy dust but when he returned after losing it's owner it would simply disappear along with the fairy. Knowing that she was some where near Endymion looked closer through the thick branches of the trees before him. A silver streak passing before his eyes Endymion straightened from his kneeled position and ran after the vision he saw pass him. And that was the norm. A game they both seemed to play. Or more like a game she seemed to like to play on him. Although extremely fit from his training Endymion just couldn't seem to catch the enchantress try as he might. But he would keep on trying. And tonight was no different. Trailing right behind her he urged his legs faster to try to gain more distance. But she seeing what that he was gaining on her simply turned around and smiled at him, her silver gray eyes laughing as they locked with his steel blue one and ran a little faster ahead of him. Oh but was she a sight Endymion thought as he was slowly getting tired of this chase but he still wouldn't stop, he was a determined man. She looked as she did when he first saw her standing by the willow. Before he thought it was merely his imagination but dismissed it the next night when a urge told him to see if it was just a illusion of his mind, it was not and before him once again stood the silver haired vixen. So that night. The second night he saw her had they started this cat and mouse game. She had run out of the forest and into a open field. In the night the long grass swayed with the wind and in the middle of the meadow was a large lake. The color of the water matching Endymion's deep dark blue eyes, and the silver light reflecting on to it's shallow waters shimmered from the moonlight. A moonbeam seemed to be reaching down to earth and landing on the surface of the water and there the fairy stopped. Turning around fully Endymion could see her entire body, not just the back of her head that would usually hold his sight when she was running away. And in his opinion it was still as enchanting. Her heart shaped face was as pale as the moon, she was practically glowing. The pink blush on her cheeks was the result of her little run through the forest. Her mouth was smiling reveling a perfect set of white teeth and her silver eyes glowing with happiness, innocence and even a small mischievous glint. On her head was a crown of silver tresses that reached down to her ankles. Let down and free it was an incredible sight to behold. With in her hair was sown threads of different color. From deep reds and blues, to bright greens and yellows. It was a total contrast to it's naturally silver color. She was wearing a dress that came up to her mid-thigh showing of her length of legs. The silver dress matched it's owner perfectly. It hugged her body and raided not just beauty but innocence. On the back of her dress was a pair of translucent fairy wings. When she moved the wing would disperse some silver fairy dust. She was indeed the vision of a true fairies in the tales named after them. This simply made him more determined and in some desperate need to make her stay he grabbed for her hand and had got it. So within his large hand held her small ones. So soft he thought dreamily to himself. Lifting his head he looked at her eye to eye with a smug expression. "I caught you" he said almost teasingly to the woman in front of her. She blushed in reply and nodded her head no and smiled up at him still not saying a word when the only thing he wanted to hear right now was her voice. But that didn't seem to be the idea she had because the next thing he knew her hands were out of his and she was nothing more then a silver glowing ball floating in the air. And as he blinked she disappeared totally and the moonlight seemed to shine even brighter. That was what always happened. The minx always seem to elude him every time. But at least this time he had gotten close. He hand held her hand and had spoken to her. True it was only for a brief second that they had touched and well she didn't talk back. But it was progress. And sooner or later. He would get her to stay, that was for another night though. Tired from his nightly encounter with his fairy Endymion headed back to the palace where he would be dreaming of his fairy princess. <3*************<3 Short yes. But good?
