Blade is a character of great power, kindness, and intellegence. He is 15 years old but his his past is more painful than some of even 50 years. During the peaceful days, Blade learned how to fight with a sword deciently from his father. They would spar for hours together and then have a sundae. At age 8, though, he saw his older brother die before him to protect his family from some intruders. They were evil creatures set on forcing out the Renos so they could occupy the village. The heavily armed raiders let him and his parents go only if they would spilt up, never return again, and they would receive all their possessions. Without thought they gave their possessions and went on their way alone. Blade finally rested after he ran for quite some time. He heard a noise; the raiders had come. Blade trembled as they spotted him and sinisterly grinned for these raiders had a reputation for not keeping their word. Just then a group of hunters passing by saw him and immediately began attacking the raiders. The battle was fierce but in the end the hunters won. They took in Blade and helped him to deal with his pain and grow in his power and swordsmanship. He became so good with a sword that everyone called him Blade. One day, when he was 14, everything changed. The hunters suddenly became uneasy and agreed on Blade's death. Fortunately, Blade heard the news. He became distressed for he knew the hunters did not lie. The leader brought out his ax and solemnly cleaned it. Blade finally made up his mind; he would leave. Soon after he he met Abaya....... |
