Scripting a new summoning spell
A scripted summon will help you to avoid conflicts with other mods that are using Bloodmoon's summoning effects, and can be set up to work with Morrowind.esm only.
There are a few things that differ from the Bloodmoon summoning effects tutorial-- there will be a bit of scripting (or cut and paste, if that's more your style), a new NPC, and a test cell.
The scripted summoning spell also won't let you edit the icon for the spell, or the spell's description.
Disclaimer: This isn't the only way to do a scripted summon. It works, but others may have a more efficient means of doing things.
