1873 Polonaise bustle gown! Created in Fall 2002 for a high school play. Historically accurate pattern and material! You see a bustle walking skirt of navy blue cotton with hook and eye closure. A polonaise made of cotton stiped rose fabric with cotton lace trim and navy satin ribbons for front closure. A lace "dickey" is inserted under the polonaise, snapped in the back. |
