images from the drivers seat...
reflections of life on the road.
This was in route to Arizona, in the '99 Freightshaker in August of 2004. It was west bound on I believe I-40 just entering the state from New Mexico? It may be just about to "Winslow,Az" at this point as I sit here thinking...[edit] after 'saving and viewing it yet again. No, I'm now very certain; its just over into Arizona. Its just past the stateline as that day(afternoon) it was "very windy" and the dust storm was just beging to be visible to me off to the south of the freeway. You shouldn't have trouble seeing it either.
Truck driving trivia

Handle:
Truck Numbers:
91080 (from 623K thru 685K), 16067 (from 404K thru 452K), 500622 (current unit assigned at 15.7 miles on the hub) Random, and... not so random images from the drivers seat and what not; while out on the road 'Truckin' it' 10-4?

-- Roger that.
So the conservative quantity of miles driven from late April / 04 to mid-March/ 05 is just over 110,000 miles. Divide it by 12 months for an average of just over 9100 miles. Then you break it down further; being out on the road an average of 3.25 weeks a month and we have 3000 miles per week. Which is nice pay if it was the actual "paid miles" but, alas that was *hub miles* and well, the software the company uses if a car based program and so it doesn't take into account things like"truck routes and Freeway limitations like bridges and "New York Parkways" or pesky signs like 'No thru trucks' or "all trucks must use the Loop"...yada, yada, yada, yada... and the band played on.
