| High Voltage Power supply | ||||||

| To power projects like my marx generator, I decided to design and build my own high voltage power supply. The power supply is capable of providing around 5000 - 6000 VDC at around 1mA. It is battery powered taking six 1.5v AA batteries. Nearly all the components were bought from Maplin except for the high voltage multiplier capacitors which were from farnell. As always with my projects, I made it look as professional as possible. The circuit diagram for the whole unit in shown below. |
