| The pride of Estregales. Captain Inado Phillipo Francisco Christian Franzino commands the Pride of Estregales, a �Surprisingly well armed� galleon that during times of war is officially a part of the Gryphon navy, when not on official business however the crew have been known to employ less than official means of trade. Leaving port with an empty hull and returning with full cargo, never seeming to stop at other ports. Inado denies piracy; he does however admit to be a �Merchant of fortune�. The crew. The ship is captained by Inado, he is the commander of the ship and spiritual leader of the crew. Under him is first mate Alberto. The rest of the crew are the usual mix of malcontents, criminals and cutthroats. However through the spiritual attachment to Poseidon that they experience on joining the crew they have turned into devout and honourable sailors. They are of mixed race, the majority being human but also represented are Elves, Fae, Halflings as well as a cornucopia of other races. The ship. The Pride is a 70foot Galleon with three masts, it has a catapult mounted on the aft castle to discourage pursuit and two ballista mounted on the front that work as grapples, cleaving into wood then the attached rope being winched in to pull the enemy ship alongside. It has ample cargo space below decks and reasonably comfortable accommodation for the crew. There are two cabins in the aft castle, one is Inado�s one is the guest quarters; the cabin of the forecastle is given over to a shrine to Poseidon. |
