Sometimes I wake up and wonder strange things...
Like "How does the world keep spinning, if we have
an example of perpetual motion that large right in
front of us...why haven't we got a mini version?"

More often I tackle more difficult
                           questions like:
                            "Why do people actually eat
                             Bran flakes?"

I know a lot of people probably think odd stuff on awaking but I believe my situation is serious enough to prove me a far more twisted individual than you would otherwise have suspected.
The first thing you have to accept dear reader is that everyone wakes up with a question, now I have yet to decide whether this offers an intriguing view into the inquisitive side of the human psyche or if my other theory holds true and we forget everything while we sleep and learn it in the three seconds before we wake. it explains a lot really, why we feel so disorientated on waking, why we do foolish things like get up at all, or eat bran flakes!
No system is perfect and I suppose if we forget a few things for a while, and a few people actually decide that bran flakes are nice, it's not that bad I suppose and they find out the truth pretty fast.
You see we all have these "waking thoughts" and I think they are very telling, perhaps (in fact certainly) More so than dreams themselves. For example..the people who wake up thinking "Where am I?" are probably very insecure, and the ones waking up thinking "who am I?" Well clear insecurity there, and the one's who wake up thinking anything else?
Froot loops the lot of them.

And that I one of the problems
with my theories, once I've worked
them to their natural conclusion I
realise that by my thinking I've
certified the entire population of the world insane....
Again.
My "waking thought" problem is a simply explained one thankfully, my questions are always pretty complex but I always remember the simple stuff, like who I am and where and so forth. What I can't handle are the big stuff, I loose a vital explanation as to who things don't work in a logical way...
And that my friends is the path to insanity.
luckily the effect doesn't last long and I soon realise the answer, e.g. in the above example:
Question: "How does the world keep spinning, if we have an example of perpetual motion that large right in front of us...why haven't we got a mini version?"
Answer: Because the world was built by an awesome coincidence on a cosmic scale, where as we are a bunch of overgrown monkeys who can't even achieve a morning meal without trying to involve a substance good for us only in it's effect on our bowels.

So what have we learned today?
Well nothing but I sure had fun writing, did we all enjoy reading it?
Good.
