Any path along which electrons can flow is a circuit. Most circuits have more than one decive that recieves electrical energy. These devices are commonly connected in a circuit in one of two ways, series or parallel. In a series circuit it has a single pathway for electron flow between the terminals of the battery, generation, or wall socket. In a parallel series, branches are formed each of which has a seperate path for the flow of electrons. The main disadvantage ia that if one blub burns out they all will some cristmas lights are made like this and its such a pain to try to find which devices connted in parallel circuit is |
