St. Philips Church Hall (Sept 1971-Jan 1976)

Our original home, the church sold the hall in January 1976 leaving us very little time to find somewhere else to play in the middle of the season. It was converted into a factory, but was demolished a number of years ago leaving this bare patch of land which is still unoccupied today.

In its day when most clubs played in one court halls this was a pleasure to play in with plenty of height and room around the sides and I have many happy memories of playing there on Saturday nights in my youth. It was also home to St. Philips Badminton Club who played in the Liverpool Churches League.
