Electric Park Jazz Band is named after the old Electrical Park that powered Aberdeen. It closed in the 50's and was replaced by the present day PUD.
Electric Park Jazz Band was founded in 1983.
EPJB is celebrating it�s 20th Anniversary this year.
EPJB�s first gig was at the Liberty Tavern in Aberdeen.
EPJB�s first festival was the 3rd annual Ocean Shores Jazz Festival. Their first year they were elected as host band, and have hosted ever since.
EPJB has performed at 18 out of 20 Rain or Shine Jazz Festivals, co-hosting with Hume Street Preservation Jazz Band.
Until this year, EPJB was the host band and had performed at America�s Festival in Olympia, Washington, since it�s first year of existence.
