Like God

Like God, I'm The Color of Water

I Heard Someone Once Describe God As The color of water.

"The color of water," I thought; What A Unique way to describe God's creative diversity in color.

Of course, water has not color

It's Transparent.

Then again, if you loot at it this way, when the light shines just right, it can make a rainbow.

some would say it's blue, Others say it's green.

As do some say I'm black, so would one way I'm white.

But then, there are those of us who say it's colorless,

Free from any label of color.

There is no defined color in people as there is no defined color in water.

In truth, we are all colored people.

Indeed a profound statement.

"We are all colored people."

The same truth as water is transparent.

However, water can hold every color we all have in us with its liquid boundaries.

You may say I'm one thing but I say "No!"

I am many things.

God has given me, as well as all of us, the privilege of being a very colorful people.

But, if you were to ask me what color I am, I would choose to say with pride,

"Like God, I'm the color of the water"
