In Memory of my daddy Edward Riley Church Jr.
June 7, 1999
What Can I Say To Our God Above?

What can I say to our God above?
Who always surrounds me with His Love.
He gave me the past with memories dear.
He gives me today with nothing to fear.
He will give me tomorrow in this life or above.
What can I say to our God of Love?

What can I say to our God in prayer?
Who made the worls for us to share.
He gives us bread. He gives us care.
He gives us beauty everywhere.

What can I say to our God who tool,
the mysterious of life and inspired a book?
He gives us law. He gives us reason.
He gives us faith to enjoy the seasons.

What can I say to our God within?
Who is always discouraging and forgiving our sin?
He is leading us onward. He is not tempting at all.
He is walking besides us, He is lifting us tall.
He is there when we need Him, if only we'll call/

What can I say to our God in deed?
Who gives me more then I'll ever need.

I can look for the lost and aid the forlorn.
Reach out to the shattered and tattered and torn.
I can do in this place what ought to be done.
I can help bring the message to everyone.
I can praise His name and sing a song.
I can enjoy His gifts my whole life long.

This has been a very difficult
page for me to do. (emotionaly)    My father was and always will be  a big part of my life. He was a
very smart man. He loved to
read, take walks, play with his
grandchildren, and take me out
for coffee. <-- I do miss those
times with my father.
My boys still say *hi* to their
grandpa. Your probably asking
how this is ..Well my sons know   that grandpa went to heaven and
heaven is in the sky. So when it
is night time and there are stars
out Zachary and Peyton will
point to one and say *Hi
grandpa we love you.*

In Loving memory of Daddy 6-7-99
                          Daddy's Little Girl

I feel you close to me
As you promised you always be

How proud are you of me now
You watched me stumble
You watched me fall
Am I close to the top now?

I didn't take the rode you chose for me
The straight and narrow was not my choice
I went right when I knew left was the right way
I feel I failed you, as I promised I wouldn't do.

I swore I was stronger, I thougt I knew
Strong enough to be your last hope.

Your little girl, so proud you were.
How smart I was, how much I could do
I wish you could hold me now, and tell me...
... tell me now you love me still.

If you could see me just now
and not all my failed attempts before
I'm sure you'd smile on me now
As you did before.

I love you now, as I always did
So until we meet, when my life should cease
And I hope you are proud.
