Some Flash exercises than emerged from my experience in the

These six files were created as a way to experiment with animating type and learn Flash. Assigned projects such as an ethnographic study of Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square and associated practicum assignments (see www.geocities.com/nathanphillipssquare) led to democracy being a central theme for students in the first group of students in York University's new Master of Design program.
Work on design of a PC-driven system to aid people with short term memory loss led to the expressive type representing the elusiveness of memory.
