Harry Potter page 2!
Well the prisoner of Azkaban is when the books first start getting really good. Harry gets slightly complacent near the beginning. And Aunt Marge is even more hateable than Lucius Malfoy. Ooo, horrible. Bitch!! And we thougth we hated the Dursleys and the Malfoys. Oh yeah she is a Dursley. And then you meet Lupin! What is it about Lupin? Why does everyone love Lupin? Because he's cool! He's a really good teacher, the kids all love him (except Malfoy, but he is a baddy.) And he knew James Potter, and he gives Harry dementor defence lessons, and he misses Christmas as a werewolf, and he gives up his job because he's worried about the kids. And then Hermione is adorable in this. She sacrifices being liked by Ron and Harry because she fears for their safety. Which is really cute. Look at the picture to the right. Isn't she cute? yes she's cute. Ahhh. But too pretty to be Hermione, she's supposed to have big teeth etc. O well, you can't have everything.

And then there's Sirius. He's almost as lovely as Hermione. He makes a fantastic villain most of the way through, and then he's suddenly lovely. Ahhh. He wants Harry to move in with him. Ahh. And don't you hate Snape, even though Sirius is the bastard that almost killed him, and played jokes on him right through school. And you're sooo happy cos it's all lovely and Harry's going to move in with his Godfather, and Petigrew's going to prison and everyone's really happy, and then Petigrew escapes and everything's awful, and Sirius has to flee, even though he's innocent. Isn't JK Rowling a horrid little sadist?!! She is also obviously a very good writter for making everyone feel like that, but it's soo miserable. Poor little Harry, poor little Sirius. Professor Trelawney is a wonderful charachter. They all are. Oliver Wood; "Just because I told her I didn't care if it threw you off, as long as you caught the snitch on it first." It's wonderful. I'm quite curious about butterbeer. How alchoholic is it? Do they not care that a load of kids are sitting in a pub? And Hagrid calls the pub something other than the three broomstilcks, but I can't be bothered to look that up now. But if Snape is an ex-deatheater, surely he should know if Sirius was? He would know it was Pettigrew. And the Malfoys definately should, but maybe they do.

Book four is great!!!!! It's fantastically long and interesting (apart from the quiddich world cup, but at least they dont do that at school this year) and has all your favourite charachters apart from Lupin and Lockhart, including a return of Lucius, with one of the most interesting beginnings of the books. And you find out what exactly the evil people do. Well not exactly, but you find out stuff. The only problem with the book is the story line. Why enter Harry into the triwizards cup when not entering him would have made it 10 times easier? Entering him made Dumbledore more careful, made him train hard at hexes etc. And of course, the chances of Harry not surviving the first two tasks or not winning the last were quite large, even with help. A much more sensible plan would have been not to enter Harry, and for Moody to ask him to fetch him a book during the first task. The entire school would have been watching the three champions and noone would have noticed his absense until the end of the task at the earliest. It would have been a much quicker and easier plan, less likely to fail, and Dumbledore would not have suspected anything.
Apart from that it is a great story. You're kept guessing throughout, again suspecting Snape, as well as many others. You would never suspect Moody though. If I ever met JK Rowling I would ask her why does dumbledore have a look of triumph when Harry tells him Voldemort can touch him. It makes no sense. Surely this is not a good thing? But Dumbledore cannot be a baddy, because he basically is the light. Without Dumbledore the light side would have died out last time. Unless he changed his mind. Maybe this is the way Voldemort can die, or something. And Severus is a goodie! He spied for Dumbledore, which was very brave for a slytherin. But he can't spy now because Voldemort was there when he was threatening Quirrel in the first book. Or can he? And why does dumbledore trust him? I'm looking forward to finding out
