So what is there to say about Abi? Well she is the coolest person I know, and probably the most musically talented. She plays guitar, bass guitar, drums, violin, piano, well the list is endless, anything she can be bothered to find really. She is also a really good singer. She's a member of another local band to who are really cool, really good, and perform regularly at places like the Army and Navy in Chelmsford, and the Hermit in Brentwood. They've been recorded at a proper studio and lots of cool stuff, and are on their way up. So why does Abi stoop to our level to perform with us? Madness? Probably, but she seems to enjoy it, and of course an all girl band is obviosly a lot better than a mainly male band. No. Well she is clearly the most talented member of our band, even if she does spend her time stuck behind the drum kit, and comes up with a lot of stuff like our lyric "Do you buzz at night like the freezer often does?" which you have to admit is a master piece. When did I first meet Abi? I have no idea, probably in a German lesson in year 8, and we were probably introduced by Helena. But Im not sure. After a year and a bit of strange but interesting conversations 3 times a fourtnight we kind of stopped talking as much. She wasn't in my class for anything, and I got very jealous of her the way Choz and Vera used to go on about how cool she was. Then suddenly this year she is in 2 of my classes (thats nine lessons a week to a VIth former) and we also have the same frees and Key skills together. And annoyingly Chozza and Vera were right about how cool she is, and how nice she is. She's great, but I'm in a mood with her for not coming to my house on Friday!!!!! I'm going to see her band again soon for my birthday, (I hope that doesnt mean I have to pay for everything,) and hopefully one day she will bother coming to one of my sleepovers, to see exactly what crap me and Choz and Vicky actually do talk about at 2 o'clock in the morning. She would think we're even odder than she thinks we are now though |
