Queen

   This is a page dedicated to the fantastic group that is "Queen."
     Queen are Freddie Mercury; lead vocals and piano, Brian May; lead guitar, Roger Taylor; drums, and John Deacons bassguitar. They are all very talented, and they write such brilliant music, including rock anthems no one forgets, and also some of the most beautiful modern music around.
      Freddie Mercury died in 1991, during the wee small hours of my birthday to be exact. He was a fantastic performer, and excellent singer, and a legend.

The coolest thing happened yesterday; we had people from the LSO come to school to teach us about something interesting, but the cool bit is that the cellist looked exactly like John Deacon. Wow

The rest of Queen are still performing and just as brilliant as ever, sort of. They recently recorded "We are the Champions" for the film "A nights Tale," with Robbie Williams on lead vocals. Not because they think that Robbie is a really fantastic singer, but because he is the only person with anywhere near as brilliant a stage presence as Freddie had.

Queen's song Bohemian Rahpsody was voted the second greatist number 1 single of all time. I personally think there wasn't much in it between that and Imagine which was voted number one. My favourite Queen song though is probably "The Show must go on," because it is sooo beautiful, followed shortly by "Who wants to live forever," and "Im going slightly mad." They are all fantastic songs, and "Im going slightly mad really does make you go slightly mad.

One of Queens best pieces of music was "Under Pressure," written by Queen and David Bowie. It is really good, I mean really simple, but really great, really passionate sounding. Theoretically it is the best piece of music in the world ever, but maybe I wont go that far.

I dont really know much about that either. If anyone cares about me steeling thease pics, please tell me, I will try to do something about it. Its only a little crappy website noone's going to see anyway.
