So Sarah decided that the fastest way to the castle, was through the centre of the Goblin City.  She asked her knew friend Hogwart if he knew
      Whos Hogwart?
      What?
      Whos Hogwart?
The dwarf that has been helping her.
I thought you said his name was Heggle?
      Heggle?
      Yeah, Heggle.
      Ok, Heggle then.
      Ok, carry on.
I cant, your mummys just round the corner, and I dont think she should see me.
     How do you know?
     I can hear her.
      Oh.
I dont think you should tell her that youve been talking to me.  Shed only worry.  Lets make it our little secret, yeah?
      Why?
Why?  Because its nice to have secrets sometimes between friends.
Now, you run back to Mummy, we dont want her to worry now do we.  And Ill finish the story tomorrow.
Dominic got up and started skipping back the way he had come.  Then he stopped and turned back.
Thank you, he said, and then carried on skipping.
Youre welcome, said Jareth, and then disappeared.

What do you mean you dont know where he is?
     I mean just that.
Mrs Baker, he is your responsibility during school hours.  Where has he gone?
Im sorry, Miss Walker, but maybe if you had arrived at half past three like all the other mothers he would have gone straight home with you.
Dont even think about blaming me.  Im not the first parent whos ever been late picking up their kid, and its only a quarter to four!
Michelle was furious.  If anything has happened to my son, I am holding you personally responsible.
Well maybe you should find a way his father could pick him up from school if you cant get here on time.
Dont you make judgements on me.  You know nothing about his father.
     Mummy.
Michelle swung round.  Dominic! she cried and ran to him, and held him close to her.  Where have you been darling.  I was so worried.
I was only behind the classroom Mummy.
Dont you do that to me again.  Ever, do you hear?
The little boy nodded, and Michelle kissed him.  Then she looked up at Mrs Baker, who was watching the scene with intrigue.
Come on Dominic, she said, its time to go home.  She took his hand and they walked together to the door.
Miss Walker, Mrs Baker called after them.  You can get him to pay child support you know.  If you know who he is.
     Michelle just kept walking.

     How was your day, Dom?
OK.  He was about to continue but then didnt.
Its getting better then? his mother asked
     I suppose, he said.
Michelle stopped to look at him.  He seemed quite distant.  Will you give me a hug?  I think I need one.  He looked at her, and put his arms around her waist, the highest he could reach.  Michelle bent down, and gave him a proper hug.  Do you want to change schools Dominic?  We can do it just like that, you know.
No, he said quickly, thinking about the tall blond he had only just met.
This confused her.  Are you sure?
Mummy, Im fine.  He looked her directly in the eyes to prove he wasnt lying.
You know, you dont have to put up with anything.  Theres no need.
Mummy, I want to stay there.
She shrugged.  OK, she said and took his hand again and carried on home.
Good morning, you must be Mr White and Mr Jones.  Mr Argent is expecting you, if youd like to go straight through?  The two men smiled at her and thanked her, then followed her hand, and walked into Mr Argents office, from where Michelle heard her bosss loud voice welcome the two.  She followed and asked for their orders for coffee or tea.
Tea, milk, two sugars, pet, said the first man.
     Same for me love,
Yes thank you Michelle.  Tea for me to thank you.
Yes Mr Argent, she said smiling, and left backwards shutting the door.  She turned and jumped at the tall man in front of her.
Jaden! she scolded.  Whats this, suddenly taking an interest in your little project?
You never said good bye to me the other day.  I came to see if you were all right.
Of course I am, no thanks to you.
Come, precious, thats a bit harsh.
    Oh is it?
You asked for revenge, all I did was help.
Your son is miserable, and you have done nothing to help him.
Not my son, Jareths son, remember?
Theres no need to pretend when hes not here.
Jaden smiled, and stroked her hair.
Get off! she snapped, that wonderful way you both feel you can just touch me!  Im not your possession!
You gave yourself to me seven years ago.  You were almost in love.
    Seven years ago.
You still are.  He kissed her, and she let him, and he took her into the firms toilets where they made love.  It was the third time Michelle had ever had sex.
