general ranged[]: gives the user a +1 bonus to attacks made with a ranged weapon per skill point allocated - 1 and a +1 bonus to the damage of the weapon after a third skill point is allocated to the skill. At least one skill point must be allocated here to use ranged weapons.
general melee[]: gives the user a +1 bonus to attacks made with a melee weapon per skill point allocated - 1,and a +1 bonus to the damage of the weapon after a third skill point is allocated to the skill. It also gives a +1 bonus to bash's attack. At least one skill point must be allocated here to use melee weapons.
general special[]: gives the user a +1 bonus to attacks made with a special weapon per skill point allocated, and a +1 bonus to the damage of the weapon after a third skill point is allocated to the skill. it also gives a +1 bonus to defense at the fourth skill level and an additional +2 at the eighth skill level. At least one skill point must be allocated here to use special weapons, except hand-to-hand combat, which can be used with no points allocated at a -1 to attack.
stealth[]: roll a d20. If you roll under n+2, you will have successfully avoided all attack. use as a movement phase, but you cannot attack with a melee weapon during your turn (you can still heal or cast a spell)
armor[]: You can wear armor. your armor gains n - 2 hp beyond its regular value if you have more than 2 points allocated.
shield[]: you can use a shield. Add n-2 to all defensive rolls when it is equipped if you have more than 2 points allocated.
weapon[]: A weapon must be specified. A character can have a specialty with more than one weapon. You must have the general type proficiency for the specific weapon before you can get a specialty with it. This skill gives a 2 + n bonus, where n is the number of points allocated to the skill, to the specified weapon, along a damage bonus of n.
bash[]: you can use a shield for attacking. add the number of hit points the shield has to your attack modifier. attack removes 1 hp from shield until you have 3 skill points allocated.
power attack[]: power attack lasts one combat turn. Sacrifice 1+1d4 - n hit points, and attack one enemy. Do not roll to hit, simply roll damage. You will not be dealt combat damage this turn. You must have specific weapon proficiency with the weapon you are using. You can only do this if you are using a single weapon and no shield. (if you have bash, then you can use a shield, but you will drop your other weapon if you have one.) If you have two weapons or a weapon and a shield, you will drop the weapon you don't attack with or the shield. you receive no movement phase this turn.
dual attack: you now have one attack phase per equipped weapon per turn, and you can equip as many weapons as you have hands. You must have a specific proficiency in all weapons equipped. having bash and shield equipped counts as a weapon. your second, off-hand weapon rolls with a -2 modifier. This does NOT modify power attack[].
