The web of friendship is tightly bound,
It is a place you feel safe and sound,
With friends around you, you are not alone,
For it is with them happiness you own,
If ever should arise a problem,
Just share it with them,
For friends are the ties that bind,
To lend a helping hand they do not mind.
A smile and laughter they do share,
These things let you know they care,
but also at times they may need to straighten you out,
Pay attention before you shout,
Sometimes they know you better than you know yourself,
And this can be your greatest wealth,
No matter what they tell you,
Just know that it is true,
From a friend it comes from the heart,
To heed and listen is a great start.
Friends are there for you no matter what may come,
You plus a friend equals a never ending sum,
This someday may save your life,
From pain, heartache and strife,
Trough happiness, sorrow, laughter, and tears they are there,
This is the way you know they care,
They are there for you, be there for your friends,
