Breeding Arabian horses started as a family business for the Eldridge Family back in the 1960s. As a youngster, son Pat started out by showing halter horses. He was riding and showing under saddle as well by the age of 15. He has been showing competitively in Halter and Performance ever since.
Pat took over the business in 1995 with 75 horses. Starting a lesson program felt to be the best way to survive at the time. Nowadays, training has become the number one concern. However, Pat gives about 20 lessons a week, including students from the US Coast Guard Academy.
Pat is known as the "Western Guy" as he specializes in western horses but that's not the only thing he does. Pat trains horses in most disciplines. Another one of Pat's specialities is breaking young horses. His understanding
of horses in general, calm demeanor, and patience with starting the young or
unbroken horse promotes the proper foundation for advanced training of
various disciplines.
