Kunsan is located on west coast of Korea.  As is the case with every city that is on the coast here, Kunsan is famous for seafood.  I am not really fond of seafood unless it is breaded shrimp or halibut.  Or unless it is the all you can eat crab at Red Lobster or just the plain old lobster.  In Korea you have every fish you could ever think about eating and some you never would.  None of them are breaded for the post part and the shrimp are rarely cleaned out.  You see women on the street everywhere selling fish that their husband caught that day.  Below I have a picture of some of the fishing boats in Kunsan.  Beneath that I have a picture of the biggest shrimp I have ever seen.  It still had it's eyes and guts and I realized that's not the way shrimp is meant to be eaten.  Beneath that is one of the many fish stands in the city that sell all varieties of fish packed in ice to keep it from going bad.  Then beneath that are the two main boating lanes out of Kunsan harbor that head out to the ocean.  It's been fun updating this site and posting pics so people can see what I have been doing.  I got an e-mail from Wilson (on of my companions) talking about how much the pictures made him want to come back.  I hear that a lot from Sloanie too, and even Hang who has only been in America for a few weeks now. It's hard to believe I only have a little more than a week left.  Time is one of those things that never works the way we want it to.  It reminds me of a 1986 gray Ford Escort (may she rest in peace) that I used to drive in high school.  Of course that never worked at all.....

Just some more random pics from Kunsan.  Today was pretty hard at work. It felt like forever, but I was finally able to get done.  This tunnel goes under the mountain that the park I went to on Monday is on.  There is a McDonalds in E-Mart so I thought I would take a pic of the signs of civilization.  There is Sungtaek and his mom after we ate lunch.  Another is a pic over looking Kunsan city from the top of the mountain.  It looks a lot better from up high. Here is a picture of the old men playing jangee at the park too.  After I got home tonight I finally broke down and downloaded the season finale to "Smallville."  So Lex got set up by his woman and dad and is going to get saved by the Cubans or what?
