Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea,
when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the
morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
Alma 37:37

I have a confession to make; I haven't been to the temple yet. However, I still plan to go as soon as
possible, despite all the opposition I seem to be facing.
What can I say about the last week? The Lord is obviously in my life, guiding my steps. When I am humble
enough to kneel and to ask, I feel that I receive the direction I so sorely need to be able to choose what I should be doing
in my life. I know that everything will turn out as it should if I am only willing to follow. I am reminded of the hymn, "The
Lord is My Shepherd":
The Lord is my Shepherd; no want shall I know. I feed in green pastures; safe-folded I rest.
He leadeth my soul where the still waters flow, Restores me when wand'ring, redeems when oppressed,
Restores me when wand'ring, redeems when oppressed.
Thru the valley and shadow of death though I stray, Since thou art my Guardian, no evil I fear
Thy rod shall defend me, thy staff be my stay. No harm can befall with my Comforter near.
No harm can befall with my Comforter near.
In the midst of affliction my table is spread. With blessings unmeasured my cup runneth o'er.
With perfume and oil thou anointest my head. Oh, what shall I ask of thy providence more?
Oh, what shall I ask of thy providence more?
While I won't discuss everything the Lord is guiding me in, I can say that I am grateful for the individual
attention He is so willing to give to each of us. And I will make it to the temple soon.
