And now, I would commend you to seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written, that the grace of God the Father, and also the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, which beareth record of them, may be and abide in you forever. Amen.
Ether 12:41

My first update for a while has me finishing up at school for the day and on my way to my new job at Wells Fargo. I receive a better wage, tuition assistance, and health benefits now. The Lord has provided just when I needed it -- my next quarter's tuition and my first interest payment on my loan are both due next month.
When I started school, it was with the understanding that I was not able to pay for it without some drastic changes in my life. I knew that I could afford the first quarter, but after that I wouldn't be able to continue unless something happened to change my financial situation. However, I could see that this was where I needed to be and at the time I needed to be (the little evidences are too many to list here), so I went on in the hope that the Lord would prepare the way. All that I could do was pay my tithes and offerings and pray. I have to admit I was starting to get worried, but then I was hired on the same day I received my bills in the mail.
I think the Lord was making a point, as he often has to with me, that the only reason that this is going to work is because of Him.
Very timely, too, was the realization of how off-track I've been lately. Now, no one need think me guilty of any great misdoing, but I know that I have not been as Christ-centered as I ought to be. It's time for me to make some changes. For one, my priorities are different. Projects such as this page, scripture study, keeping my journal, and anything else that makes me stop and think about the Lord and His Gospel go at the top of my list. While I always thought of them as most important, I feel like most of my thoughts and energies have gone towards school and work. I plan to change. In the end, it is only the Kingdom of God that matters, and the only thing that lasts into the Eternities.
Everyone have a great week -- I'll update again by next Monday.
