This is a letter that Brady sent and we received Feb. 15.

Hello everybody! It’s quite a day today. The library is closed and school is cancelled because little tiny chunks of ice have been falling. They end up freezing together. We had to scrape off ¼ inch of ice this morning to be able to drive to Wal-mart. Everyone is freaking out. We’re doin fine. Ice is actually easier to drive on. Especially when it comes down in tiny chunks- the ice is pretty rough and there’s some traction.
I’m being transferred to Centerton, Arkansas. It’s just a bit northwest of Springdale, close to Bentonville, home of Walmart. Hurray! Houston is being closed. The Winona Elders will be covering it. They’re doing really good. We started having a few thngs happen, but I guess it was too late.
So, I’m not sure what to talk about with this area being closed. I dunno what to tell people that we start teaching. It’s an odd feeling. At least I didn’t have to buy a lot of food this week.
Tuesday we had a big rain storm. It was tornado weather—rather warm, until the wind changes from the northward to the southward and the temperature drops. We did a bit of tracting until we saw a big dark cloud in the west. We figured we’d better head for home. When we got there, our power was out. We went to Wal-mart and bought some food. The power came back on at 8:30 PM. Pretty much the rest of the week was warm. Apparently we’re under a severe weather warning. It doesn’t seem too severe to me—yet.
Anyway, I’d better get going. See ya later!
