Well, today everything is closed because of a small ice storm. School
is closed, the library is closed, but luckily William Thomas, one of
the members of the ward who is waiting for his papers, works at the
library, so he was able to get us in, despite the people across the
street telling us that the library is closed.
It's been really cold. Moslty due to a humid wind. Luckily the
thermal bottoms and my coat do really well, but my ears were having
trouble, so I wrapped my terrorist scarf around my head. It worked
really well.
We've been doing lots and lots of tracting. Unfortunately David
Shelby couldn't make it to church because his pipes busted, and he
had to get them fixed. Hopefully he's free next week, because
Jennifer Rackley will be getting baptized, and he wants to attend.
Baptisms are awsome. I hope I can see some other investigators from
Winona there.
In March we have another mission tour: Elder Chad Richardson. I
believe he is over our mission, in fact. I'm way excited: it'll be my
third one, and just before my 18 month mark!
Anyway, I don't know what more to say. I'm out of cereal. And bread.
I've had top ramen a bit more lately.
Wow, it sounds like a lot of people want to know if the library is
open. We keep getting calls.
I've noticed more and more how people read the Bible, and say they
believe it, but they don't understand it. I hope I can figure out
more of what it means by "teaching with authority," because it seems
like other preachers teach with their knowledge, based upon precident
established in the Bible. I'm tyring to figure out how to make my
last 6 months my greatest.
Well, I dunno what more to write, so I guess I'll be going. Bye!
