December 17, 2007
I got the envelope. Unfortunately I have no use for the hat, and
can't wear the ties, but at least I can listen to the CD you sent me.
If you have any more MoTab, feel free to send 'em out.
Let Dallas know that I sent him a letter, but the address he gave me
doesn't seem to exist. If you could send me Tim and Cara's address,
I'll send it to them so that he can be sure to get it.
Today is going to be short, because we have a district outing in West
Plains, and have a lot to get done before we go. So I won't be
writing too much today, but I'll leave you with something.
It's been a pretty slow week. Well, fast as well. We had exchanges on
Tuesday, interviews on Thursday, and this weekend we went to Winona.
It started snowing in the late evening, so we weren't able to teach
anyone, but we stopped by Karen and Scott, and they're doing really
well. On Sunday we had an awsome lesson with Cora Blair. She knows
it's true. She said, "I just don't know why I'm dragging my feet."
She'll get baptized. So will Karen and Scott, and their 9-year-old
son Kyle.
The snow storm wasn't bad. We headed to the Dailey's really slow (we
stay at their house when we go down to Winona), but made it without
incident. We woke up, and there was maybe half-an-inch of snow on the
ground. It looks like they got 2-3 inches up here in Houston. We only
had Sacrament meeting in Winona, since everyone was "snowed in," and
only 20 people showed up. They just throw sand on the roads. I'm
usually more worried about the sand than the ice.
Anyway, I'd better get going. 'Till next week!
