| October 21st, 2003 [3:14pm] - Screw Boykin Damn, some dude went off Niagra Falls and lived. Damn, General Boykin said some hella stupid s***. But the biggest news is yet to come. Biggest news = I got an ATM card! I know I know, you must be like....."you're totally hella stupid Eric, everyone has an ATM card, especially if they go to USC. Damn." And yes, you are right. Except for me. I didn't have an ATM card. So therefore, you were actually wrong. But now you are right, because I have an ATM card now, and the circle is complete. Oogh, my head hurts from so much thinking. Oh, I also joined an NBA Fantasy League over the weekend. It's being spearheaded by Irvin Lee, and my team's name is "Team GoGoYubari". Yeah, big surprise there. Funny thing is, if I had registered a few days earlier, my team name would probably have been something like, "Team Rectal Examination". I'm a simple guy. I live in the moment, plus the few moments before the next moment comes along. Oogh, my head hurts again. So here's my team. Say hello to Team GoGoYubari. Jason Terry Paul Pierce Andrei Kirilenko Robert Horry Brian Grant Amare Stoudemire Vlade Divac (yeah, shutup) Shane Battier Tony Parker James Posey Fight on Team GoGoYubari !!! October 16th, 2003 [6:13pm] - Clearly, I loved this movie Something a bit different. Input is appreciated. October 15th, 2003 [10:48pm] - KY Kiske Jelly Cosplayer Complex EX 2 Updated. Performed a DRE today.....that's Digital Rectal Exam for those of you non-medically inclined. Also known as the "I'm going to stick mein finger up your bunghole" exam. (shiver) (freeze) (puke) (repeat) Need I say that it was awful? No, I need not. I dunno though, wasn't as BAD as I thought it would be. It's very clever of them, you know, they worked us up to prepare for this in many ways. First, it was gross anatomy. Then, it was the testicular examination. Then, the penis examination. Now, the bunghole examination. Hey, doesn't seem so bad now, does it? But still, I didn't really have that great of a day. Tried to call and get the AC fixed again. The manager told me he called the guy twice already. Tried to call the garage door guy to get that fixed. The guy's not picking up his phone. Then I saw the termites again. Not a lot, like 3-4.....enough to worry me again. Shit. Got to school, had harsh reality revealed to me on several occasions regarding all facets of my social and professional life (more on that later? nah). Then, to top it all off, I get to stick my finger up another dude's anus. (sigh) Let's hope tomorrow's a better day. Btw, Kill Bill is best. October 8th, 2003 [2:27am] - Let's recall the recall Updates - Cosplayer Complex is now easier to navigate! With the addition of Cosplayer Complex EX 2, new pictures will be added on a regular basis, and you don't have to search through the old ones to find them.....damn, isn't that simply AWESOME ?!?!?!? Oh yeah, it was John's idea, gotta give him credit, otherwise he'll start crying. My my.....Arnold is our new governor. Alright, that was fun. Now let's get govenin' !!! Well, I woke up today.....feeling absolutely awful. I was supposed to get to school early to see Anne, and ya know, show my support for the cutest girl in the 1st year of med school. But alas.....I failed in my task to wake up. I actually managed to wake up earlier than I needed to.....and subsequently got tired and went back to sleep....which proved to be my downfall. UGH. Anyway, news for today....hmmm. I studied.....and studied some more. Ooh! I also went to a review session! October 5th, 2003 [2:35pm] - like a bat out of hell Updates: Yvonne Chiu profile October 4th, 2003 [2:14am] - Man, it's late..... The messageboard is back online. Check it out please! Also, this thought-provoking link. Sent by Albert Tsai. Simply genius. Woke up late this morning......again. Played with the neighbor's 2-year old kid for awhile. He's the bomb. Calls me "gege" (for those of you Mandarin-impaired, that's "big brother"). It makes me feel important. So I guess the day was off to a good start. Then I had dim sum with Jen, Lisa, Ian Whoo (world champion homo), Sornya, Yvonne, Pei and Kou at Sam Woo Seafood Restarant. I don't like heights much, but I sat next to the window anyway. Food was good. Kou turned 26. We sang happy birthday in hushed voices for some reason, and in English too. Blasphemous. Will be back at school tomorrow. I need to take a break (like I haven't been taking enough with Zombie Revenge), but I want to watch a movie. I want to watch Miyazaki film....because I think that would cheer me up a bit. Watch it with some friends, ya know what I'm sayin'? Either that, or go to Tahiti.....but that's a bit unlikely. Anyway, things are going okay, I think. Renal is ugly, but still nothing compared to Core II (aka, gouging my eyes out with a red-hot poker). I also think that I've really picked up a reputation as an avid video-gamer and an anime freak. Today, one of our instructors mentioned the word "video game", and 4 people in my class turned around and stared at me. Hmmmm. How interesting. I wonder how many heads would turn and stare at me if our professor mentioned "anime-watching stud"? Probably more. October 1st [10:03pm] - GGXX cosplayers and such Updates: Cosplayer Complex September 30th 2003, [10:13pm] - But today, we fight !!! Updates: Added "Onasteek" to Links Page At long last, I am returned. Where have I gone? Studying for renal, I suppose. It really is a fascinating system...so fascinating that I'm utterly at a loss for words regarding how to approach it. Ergo, I know very little about it, which will prove to be more than bad when the exam rolls around next week. Btw, today, I learned about "dribbling". It's a term used for peeing funny. Do you dribble? Dribble dribble. No good man. Sign of Lower Urinary Tract Obstruction. Mess you up. Can't pee. You'll blow up filled with urine. On a lighter note, I played a round of Starcraft against Josh earlier today. The results weren't pretty, but the carnage that ensued in his broken base most certainly was beautiful. =) Also watched the new LOTR trailer for ROTK (man, I'm SO in the Tolkien lingo!). Good lord. I think I will watch it again later! And maybe once or twice more after that. I figure that if I put in at least 3 hours watching the trailer, it'll be somewhat equivalent to watching the real movie. Oh yeah, Ean and I also started playing this Dreamcast game called Zombie Revenge, and you fight all these zombies! (yea yea, very original). But it's fun, I assure you! Later this week, maybe I'll get to spank John's butt in F-Zero GX if he's man enough to bring it over. Until then, keep yourself hydrated (but not too much), and don't dribble. September 15th 2003, [5:45pm] - the REAL S.C. I have returned. Of course, I haven't really gone anywhere. Just been sitting at the desk for many hours. Not all of it has been spent studying though......a fair amount has been dedicated to surfing the web and chatting. Passed the cardio-vascular exam. That's a relief. Now I can focus my energies on passing the Renal system. I hear it's much worse. Yay! Oh yeah, I also went out to Best Buy and actually BOUGHT the original Starcraft game for PC. Folly on my part? Most certainly. Why? Well, I felt guilty after all those years of swindling Blizzard. They are good folks, and have brought me much happiness. It's the least I could do. Damn, I'm a retard for buying it. Anyway, if you're up for a game, you know where to challenge me. September 2nd 2003, [7:32pm} - I only eat ethically treated biscuits! Peta (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) evidently dropped their lawsuit against KFC today. So, what better way to celebrate their victory than going to KFC for dinner? MmmmMmmmm. Finger lickin' good, indeed. Cardiovascular exam on Friday. Whoohoo. Let's rock! Previous Entries _________________________________________________________________ |
