| August 26th 2003, [10:38pm] - nothing to say School's been good. Busy, if nothing else. Cardiovascular exam next week. Let's hope it all works out okay. Peace everyone. August 19th 2003, [4:05am] - NO. YOU draw her inguinal line ! Added: "MSI MDL Adventures-in-not-studying !!!" in the photo gallery. Today, we drew lines all over the bodies of standardized patients. It was kinda wierd, especially since we got a chick. She was really cool though, and before long, we were outlining organs on her like we had been doing it all our lives. Yeah, it was wierd. August 19th 2003, [10:00am] - no clever title today On the left. That's Mike in the middle of his Tornado Chan Dance. Ofoto is the new standard. Massive update to the Cosplayer Complex site. In fact, I put that on Ofoto as well. Mwahahaha. And I didn't pay a cent for their services! This is great! Ergo, I added a crazy number of pics. Might have gone overboard, but we'll see about that. August 17th 2003, [12:50pm] - #12 is HOT!!! Update: Anime Expo 2003 Photo Gallery !!! It's official. I'm using Ofoto from now on to host pictures. I've recently been thinking about the basic drives of human nature. So, I decided to make a list: 1) Eat 2) Procreate 3) Sleep 4) Watch TV 5) and........get free stuff Ofoto certainly qualifies under #5. I mean, it's free! And it won't overload because too many people are trying to get on! Fantastic! It will become the new standard for the Initiative. So sayeth I, the web administrator. But, I must confess. Not all the pics in the gallery are taken by me. Credit must be given to "Usagi-chan Search & Rescue", a website I frequent often. However, I went through a lot of work to find the good ones, and there's more out there. So, therefore, it's okay. =) Damn, the AC in the apartment broke. Gotta get that fixed pronto. Also, meeting Anne later for some shaved ice or something. Harrrr.... Oh yeah, Ean Wu says that #12 in the gallery is hot. I must agree. So sayeth the web administrator. August 16th 2003, [2:00am] - Updates: the Links Page. Massive overhaul. More to come. Coming soon: Anime Expo 2003 photos! August 11th 2003, [6:16pm] - Updates: Cosplayer Complex August 10th 2003, [12:47pm] - FAAAAAACK....... Updates: Tidbits, added Aaron Foster's profile Well, the first week of school is over. We're doing cardiovascular, or so I'm told. All I know is that there's a lot of physics involved. I don't like physics much. Ergo..... I don't like the heart much. But fear not. Not all is lost. The school evidently spent an atrocious amount of money (something like $160,000) over the summer to equip every MDL study room with its own Epson Video Projector, complete with projection screen, dvd/vhs player, and a 2 Ghz AMD Athlon computer. The projection screen measures 90-inches in size. So, being the thinking, intelligent creatures we are, we hooked up a Dreamcast to it. It was goooooood. Then word got around, and Michele brought her Xbox. Now, we're officially screwed. Think of it this way.......a common complaint that console-players have about playing first person shooters on TVs is that split-screen modes suck, especially with 4 players, dividing the TV into 4 smaller parts. This is a 90-inch screen, meaning each of the 4 players essentially gets a 45-inch screen TV while playing. And this is done while playing Halo. Pictures will soon arrive. Otherwise, more updates coming soon. Since school has started, I need every possible outlet of distraction I can find. August 3rd 2003, [9:18pm] - I'm a Level 2 Healer! Like a bad dream. Here it comes. July 29th 2003, [10:07pm] - need money, paint, & cute gf Trying to get my air compressor (I bought one yesterday) to be quiet. These things are damn loud, so I'm looking for some sound insulation, the type of foam with the spikes on it. Home Depot actually ran out of it, so I might have to try some other hardware stores tomorrow, if I have the time. Work is eating me alive. Good thing school starts next week! Yay! July 28th 2003, [6:52pm] - here & there, now & then It's......the 28th of July. I think I'm going to break down and cry. School starts again on the 4th of August. THE 4TH OF AUGUST!!!! I also didn't get the position as a gross anatomy MSP tutor. Pretty bummed about that. I was really hoping to get that. Whatever man. Sucks to them. Anyway, still at the lab, so I can't do much except whine from here. However, taking some time out from work, I've been comparing myself now as opposed to "myself last year at the same time". One thing is clear. I'm much less patient. I'm much less tolerant. I guess I'm an angrier, more sarcastic person? Hmmmm, doesn't sound so good. But funny thing.....I told my dad this, and he replied "that's great!". Maybe he wasn't listening, or maybe he was simply speaking his mind. Anyway, back to work. Later dudes. July 21st 2003, [7:11pm] - Sonia & the Great Escape Our summer is close to an end. Before long, we will be back in school again, studying our butts off, and doing stupid stuff like mentor session and wearing aviator goggles while pretending to drive motorcycles. I suppose there are some good things about it. Anyway, update: new cosplayers (good stuff) Long day at the lab, again. But the problem is, when I get back, I'm too damn tired to do anything else. I've decided that the most exhausting activity in the world has NOTHING to do with physical labor. The most tiring activity is to simply sit in a chair doing NOTHING (well, not absolutely nothing) for hours on end. It drains me. I'm drained. Need boba.
